The worst songs clearly come from better dayz (Besides Loyal To The Game). Songs like Fair Xchange, Street Fame, Watcha Gonna Do, Never B Peace, Ghetto Star, Nas Acoustic, U can Call, I think all got crap beats. Until The End Of Time I think whoops better dayz.
the street fame remix is one of the best remixes of all time

why do people make threads, sit for an hour refreshing their thread every 5 minutes, then make a reply asking why so many people have viewed the thread and so little have replied. it fucking annoys me. look into yourself, think real deeply about it for a few seconds - why do you think nobody has replied? because there is something wrong with the people viewing the thread, or because there is something wrong with the thread itself? also, bare in mind that there are certain times of the day when hardly anyone visit this forum. if no one replies to your thread - take the hint. :thumb:
Hey Mr. Bone, you wanna teach me how to make good threads, what is a good thread? Im just wanna hear other opinions and share mine with others. So I wont get complex with you I keep it easy, if you felt angry about my thread, or any threads like this get on your nervs, then dont open them. I know you got nearly 8000 posts, you have seen many threads, but others like me just got 500 posts and havent seen everything. To be honest I dont see any reasons to discuss, I just wanted to be bland and give an answer in my own thread.

i didnt say your thread wasnt good, i just said that there is no point in bumping it after a few hours because no one replied. people will reply if they feel like they have something to add. when you beg for it they do it out of charity. that's like mistaking fear for respect.

Sure, UTEOT and LTTG have the most shitty remixes, thats why I cant understand why 24% or somethin voted for UTEOT in the thread "Best Posthum Album", it was close to Still I Rise and Better Dayz, thats ridiculous.
Because people have different opinions than others, maybe?

I liked alot of songs from that album. I think it's average with Better Dayz, but that is my opinion, and you obviously have a different opinion than me.

Anyway, back on topic. I don't like the One Day At A Time remix, argh! Um, Worldwide Mob Figgaz(I think thats what it's called, haven't listened to that album in time), and Why U Turn On Me, that was horrible! Argh!

ps: yes I know I picked 2 from UTEOT, but those are really the only ones I dislike, maybe a couple more, and I also dislike a few from the Better Dayz Album

"All Out OG" 's beat sounds like a freestyle song...The UTEOT's version is war song with the choplifter sound and all...

That crap remake sounds like a Nintendo cartridge freezing in the middle of the game

Off the top of my head I can definitely say:

Never B Peace - the beat is totally wrong for this song and the outlawz ruin the song the rest of the way. pure garbage. unlistenable.

Fame - i don't care that the og is unleaked, the outlawz once again completely ruin what was probably a great song. pac's verse and the hook are great but the outlawz verses keep me from listening to this song more than maybe once every 3 months. what a waste of a good song.

This Life I Lead - what exactly makes sense about taking off gonzoe, daz, kurupt, and nuttso, replacing them with the outlawz, replacing a hot-as-fuck daz produced westcoast beat with another run of the mill johnny j ho-hum beat, and calling it official? can't think of anything? that's because it's the perfect example of what NOT to do. garbage.

One Day at a Time - this is one of the few decent eminem produced beats but unfortunately for him and the outlawz, they seemed to have missed the point of the song altogether being that when 2pac and Spice 1 laid this track, with their verses they were speaking for black people, not rappers in general. So with eminem and the outlawz speaking on rappers in general they sort of throw off the whole vibe of what the song is supposed to be about and make it mad uneven as a result. the og over this remix any day of the week.

All Out/Hell 4 a Hustla - both listed here for the same reasons. First off, both og's had real gritty, grimey, and raw beats that fit the vibe of those songs perfectly. They replaced those with some techno-popish beats that not only serve no justice to the songs, but make them come off as sounding like a cobbled mess of just noise, and not a song. secondly, the outlawz re-did their verses for the remixes and this was a mistake as they came harder on the og's. thirdly, they removed a layer of pac's vocals, which is something that shouldn't be done to any of his songs as he recorded multiple layers for a REASON. messing with pac vocals is a no-no or at least it should be. finally, they removed pac's outro from BOTH songs which was wrong to do. pac was very angry on both outros, lacing both full of disses toward bad boy, jay-z, and mobb deep. i've heard that these songs were recorded during the same studio session (which, coincidentally, was reported to be his final studio session) which would explain why both sound similar in tone. removing these outros was a bad move. og's kill the retail versions of both these songs.

when thugz cry - they took off pac's chorus, completely changed both the beat and background vocals for the worst, and again omitted pac's outro. the og is, imo, one of pacs deepest and best solo joints. definitely in my top 10 of pac solos. they completely bastardized this song with the remix. matter of fact, i haven't put myself through listening to the uteot version in so long that i about forgot what it sounds like. mission accomplished on my part.

why u turn on me/lil' homies - both for same reasons of censoring out lyrics for whatever reasons and/or censoring the outro. also, i agree that maybe the og hook for why u turn on me coulda used a lil' something more, but they did it all wrong. shouldn't have took db off the hook of lil' homies either. and if they're gonna try and re-make the beat but have it sound basically the same as the og, then why not just use the og to begin with? both garbage remixes.

there's many more i could think of, but i'm sick of typing by now.

Well, i think there's more to it than "the hell with it." I believe Daz and Afeni were on bad terms, which partly has to do with Makaveli and Dillinger (please correct me if i'm wrong). Also, with these 2pac albums, it seems like their looking for the highest amout of profit that they can achieve. By getting all these original rappers back on the song, like kurupt and Daz, someone's gonna have to get paid.

Also, wouldn't Death Row have to get nice chunk of money, since the time spent on the OG was done on death row's clock? Just speculating here.

(Excluding Lttg)
Im gonna start with Secretz of war, Running (dying to live) and My Closet Road dogs ( so gully)
i dont know what people have against MCRD... in my opinion, its a good song.
im not going to write a big list here, but the top position of my would-be list - definitely ghetto gospel. i thought that pac's music had seen the worst already, but eminem, once again, outdid his lack of talent shown on one day at a time and many songs on LTTG. just think what the album would have been like if there had been more producers sharing a workload of 1 song per person? with so much time to perfect each song, the result would have been astounding.

thanks, collector123. appreciate the compliment. you're right i barely ever post (lol at the .02%) unless there is a topic that i can provide some insight on. being a 2pac fan, a thread like this was the perfect opportunity to let loose on with some brutal honesty where i believe (or at least hope) that others will share the same opinions as i. hopefully there will be more topics as such that can open the floor for some more brutal honesty in the future where i can be compelled to post. rest assured i've had what i said on my chest for some time though. thanks again.

Every album had their own fuckups:
RUSD: I'm gettin money/ Enemiez with me
SIR: Secretz of war/ Tattoo Tearz/ U can be touched
UTEOT:Friendz/ All out/ Everything they owe/ When Thugz Cry
BD: When we ride on our enemies/ Never be peace/ Fortune & Fame/ This life I lead/ They don't give a fuck about us (strange quality)
LTTG: the whole fuckin album
Every album Amaru achieve to destroy more og's..

But the ultimate ruining of a classic track was Ghetto Gospel by eminem
