I saw it on BBC in the morning and I was really stunned.
I saw many black men burning their own houses and laughing to the camera. Strange

no. just wipe out the tribes. kenya was criticsed for keeping the tribes til the modern day anyway. its odinga's tribe (luo's) who are causing the trouble because their leader or affiliate or whatever he is to them never won the election. then they sparked all this in an attempt to say that the winner of the presidential elections (Kibaki) won by cheating.

i mean they are a developing country and all this damage is going to cost millions perhaps billions and they could of used the money on further developing the country.

the money spent will probably not even get the country back to the same standard.

rioters are even going into innocent peoples' home and killing them.

the luos burned down a church killing 30 people.

they aint got a brain. and in kisumu a small town in the west of kenya, they burned the whole place down and my auntie and uncles business is completely burned down and they spent most of their lives building it up to the value it was. now its all gone. theyve had to flee the place because it is too risky staying there.

Both Kibaki and Raila share blame for this situation. Raila for stoking the flames of tribalism in his campaigns and implicitly condoning the actions of his followers. Kibaki for the suspect way that the election results were published and the hasty swearing-in ceremony.

It's a shame to see Kenya becoming yet another fulfilment of the stereotype of African nations which cannot conduct democratic excercises peacefully, with tribal strife always simmering under the surface.

That sucks but third world countries will always have issues like that. Well, I mean just in the 60s America had the same issue with people burning down buildings and such, it happens when people aren't happy I guess.

they dont have a brain. i doubt that if odinga had won in the elections that there would be much change in the laws and everything in Kenya. If he'd won the elections he'd fill his own pockets first. < this is why developing countries fail to beat poverty because the people that rule the country take everything for themselves and dont supply the people.

The current president (Kibaki) has already become rich after so many years in charge so he wouldnt need to fill his own pockets. I mean, im sure he was now helping the people and trying to fight poverty. Because he has already filled his pockets and become rich.
