(CNN) -- Actress Angelina Jolie announced in a New York Times op-ed article on Tuesday that she underwent a preventive double mastectomy after learning that she carries a mutation of the BRCA1 gene, which sharply increases her risk of developing breast cancer and ovarian cancer.

She is out of her mind and traditional medicine has put her there. She should have her brain removed too to prevent brain tumors because she doesn't use it anyway. There are so many other choices fully backed by science. Women are tortured by the conventional approach. Dismemberment as a preventative measure? GTFO. We've pathologized women, we've pathologized pregnancy, and we've pathologized menopause.

Breast cancer can almost entirely be prevented through common-sense changes in behavior, diet and the addition of anti-cancer supplements. However, against that is the breast-cancer industrial complex. They control funding at major American universities, they control the American Cancer Society, and they have a great deal of influence in the media. That whole industry depends on the continuation of cancer for its profits and its employment. They refuse to teach women even basic cancer-prevention strategies, such as getting optimal vitamin D, which can prevent approximately 50% of all breast cancers. Fruits and vegetables contain nutrients that target the expression of BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes that will protect women from cancer. Women are being scared into unnecessary double mastectomies, a procedure that benefits no one except the surgeons and hospitals.

Myth: If my mother got breast cancer I'm at greater risk because of genes.

Truth: Breast cancer is not caused by bad genes. It's caused by unhealthy diets, and lack of sleep, and lack of exercise, and a great deal of damaging stress, and too much bra wearing, and the invasiveness of unnecessary x-rays, and chemicals in our diet and in the air. Processed foods. Hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, barbecue ribs, and deep-fried chicken. Household cleaning agents, perfumed chemicals, pesticides, skin-care products, conventional cosmetics. Those are the causes of cancer. So, yes, if your mother got cancer, and you eat and live the same cancer-causing lifestyle as her--and why wouldn't you since you grew up in her house and no one such as the breast-cancer industry is telling you how to prevent it--then, yes, you are at risk of getting it too. As you are also at risk of all other kinds of cancers and heart disease and early death for the same reasons.

This was a major coup for the industry, Jolie being so high-profile. Look at how the stock of Myriad Genetics, the patent-holders of the genes BRCA1/BRCA2, soared soon after Jolie's announcement. Now more women are going to be scared and stressed over this, which could increase their risk further.

Now I'm off to pull all my teeth to prevent tooth decay.

You know, when I read about this about a week ago I thought that it was something new and progressive that women did. I kind of compared it to castration in men, which I have read lets men live longer, in addition to curbing their "damaging" testosterone secretion and making them more "docile." Like in animals. Something I still would not do and would rather live ten years less, on that alone.

But I still thought, as radical as removing your breasts is, it was a preventative measure that some women were doing to escape the genetics of it. Turns out it's some scientology bullshit. Or, at least as wacky as that. Only someone that believed in that load would do this shit. Sounds similar, in retardation, to not vaccinating your kids. I hope this new law passes that prevents you from bringing your unvaccinated kid to day cares and schools. He can wheel his polio-ass to class at home.

Jokerman, why are you like a walking Robbin's Pathology textbook? What experience do you have with shit like this?

Jokerman wastes his time with SH and Bieber jokes on FB.
When have I made a Bieber joke on FB? I save those for my blog. No, I hate blogs. Don't read them hardly. I share stuff here sometimes because I'd rather share with a few that I know than with anonymous people. Plus, I'd have to waste a lot of time on a blog debating every fool out there. Also, trying to keep the board alive, interesting.

Because I have legs and it doesn't.

I had a double mastectomy and I wear tight bras.

Seriously, one of the things I'm into is health issues and staying healthy. So I study it and stay on top of it. I can do this because I'm supersmart and have studied everything, if I may be immodest here.

I see. Makes sense. I know it's not just health issues you know a lot about, but other stuff like economical and political issues. So I just asked.
