There are new leads into the shooting case of Tupac Shakur that took place back in 1994, outside a NY recording studio. On the heels of new evidence, the federal government has reportedly re-opened the case and are investigating new leads into who the gunmen were, and those who might have been involved in the plotting to kill Tupac.
First, allhiphop reported : The source explained that Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond is at the center of the investigation. In the song "Against all odds" Tupac sang, "promised a payback Jimmy Henchmen, in due time, I know you bitch niggas is listening..."
Secondly, a source told Makaveli.com, "It doesn't just center around Jimmy, there are some other players involved including rumors of new evidence about Tut's connection and even possible that some of the artists in the building that night might have known more than they let on about the shooting, but didn't act because of the heat that was starting between Biggie and Tupac's cliques at the time."
BET.com was told by the attorney's general's office that they would not confirm or deny the reports that the case has infact been re-opened or that they are currently looking into this new evidence.
More to follow for sure. However, those who would like to see justice for this case might have to wait a bit longer, since the shooting took place so long ago, it would require first-hand evidence that would have to be an eye-witness or some sort of confession by those involved...
