I just found it funny that he seemed so comfortable living in Canada. Like the US is the only part of the world that's fucked. How'd the G-20 Summit go for you guys over in Canada? Lol.

As far as what I think about the whole North American Union thing.. it's garbage. Apparently Bush (although he's just the puppet) doesn't need approval from congress or anyone else to get something like this going. None of it was made public. It's illegal. It's fascism.
The G20 summit causes problems wherever it goes. So that's a non issue.

Canada's banking system is better and more stable than wtv the USA has to offer. Our unemployment rate is going down and job creation is going up (especially in the prairies). Unlike what I hear from friends in the USA where things are not going as well. One of those friends is actually permanently moving here.

I'm not saying there aren't issues to deal with here, but at the moment - we're doing better than the USA.

You may be doing better right now and that's good. But the power hungry people that make all the decisions aren't going to exclude Canada from any big plans they have in the future.

..
If you think so.
..
What do you mean "the way forward"?
This doesn't change the fact that America is falling and Canada is not.
Actually many civilized countries (if not most, and actually not only civilized), Canada included are rising rather than falling so even if something bad occurred there it's hard to compare that to the course of epic-failures that's haunting America "lately".
They've been doing worse and worse with each year and it seems like their problems are only getting bigger.
America can't handle their own shit and keep on digging themselves deeper and deeper while the rest of the world generally has its problems but moves forward, offers higher and higher living standards to its citizens who can feel safer about their future.
Actually it's pretty strange to say that America has become one of the most failing countries in the world but it's true, especially considering what they've had before.
It's quite possible that if that trend won't stop then the emigration trend will change and that will be a major problem.

One man, one tribe, one village, one town, one province, one nation, one continent, one world, one mankind.

We've made it about 60% of the way. Why stop now?

I am so pro-European Union you would shit your USA panties so hard you would not believe. And if you had any future vision you'd approve the *idea* of a North American Union as well.

The fact that US never developed a Department of Peace instead of a Department of Defense says this country still has a long way to go.

I am anti-european union. Especially in regards to financial aspects.

I am pro, on a principal level.

I'll agree that a whole lot of the details can be worked out better, though. But still, this is the way forward.
