50 Cent Producing 2pac's New Album

he never said that.
spyda got the acapella from the net just like the rest of us. neither of them probably ever heard the og. if anything they heard the mak dilli mix.
He said it on something like this: The original beat was a sounded outdated so red sypda re worked the beat and i got on it, it's one of my fav tracks to date. Some shit like that he said

He seems pretty passionate about it, no doubt with 50 as executive producer its gonna sell regardless, and pac would finally be promoted the way he deserves.

As long as he would keep g-unit to a minimal number of songs i'd say damn just let him do it, its gotton to the point where i dont really care anymore, i just want some good music. Just NO! fake shout outs/slowed vocals/unnecessary editing.

Hate it or love it, 50's the king of hooks

the main reason why 50 would be a terrible choice is that
he dunno shit bout the 90s rap... if he gon change pac tracks with "updated" beats it'll suck

today almost every1 sounds the same... putting sum lame ass modern beat and a bitch singing the hook will only bury the tracks in a big pile of new shit that just sounds the same no matter who raps there
(this doesnt mean that pac raps like others... so dont even start with that)

pac deserves to have beats from the period when they were dope...

i dont know, i think ppl r getting tired of the whole 50 cent show, mobb deep and tony yayo havent really showed numbers everyone seems to expect from being with 50, i dont know why tupac will be any different. alot of the stuff from that camp comes out sounding all the same, formula type stuff, who knows

the simple answer is that they thought 2pac's name was promotion enough. interscope as the distributer is responsible for a portion of promo, which they did not even do. amaru's promotion was not very widespread, and both discounted the power of one solid radio hit weeks before shelf date.

If 50 produced the album, it would be filled with appearances by the G-Unit, Mase, Eminem, D-12, Obie Trice and you know they would try to put a song together with Proof....2 hip-hop "legends". This would be a joke, either release with the producers Pac worked with, Daz, Johnny J, Dre,QDIII etc. or release the OG's. It's just that simple, anything else is just a waste of time.

lol thats the cynical side of it.

It could turn out very good , but i wouldnt hold my breath.

I would love to see Johnny J and Big Syke have creative control over this upcoming album.

johnny or syke would be a good idea, since its a 10th anniversery album. id hate to see 50 or em involved with the album at all. that would take away from the meaning of it IMO

i think that if whoever produces this new album, would take thier time, it will turn out good. give it good promotion, raido joint or 2, commercial, posters.

plan plot strategize, and bomb first.

******** - Can we look for you on the upcoming Tupac album to drop the second quarter of ’06?

Johnny “J” – YES you can my friend. You will definitely hear Johnny “J”.

******** – Can you tell us how many tracks you have on there?

Johnny “J” – Not right now because right now it’s hard to say because we don’t have a set number of what it’s going to be. We are still structuring out the game plan. And don’t forget next year is his 10 year anniversary, so there is not really a set game plan like what the numbers are going to be; Johnny “J” has 2,3,4,5, or what ever – nobody knows yet. It’s like the most ‘Top Secretive album’ in the world.

******** – It’s a double though, right?

Johnny “J” – I don’t know yet, I’m not going to lie to you man. I really don’t know. I couldn’t say to ya man. I could not honestly say what it’s going to be. Cause we don’t know if it’s going to be a double or a triple or a quadruple album; we don’t know. Cause the way it all works man it knida comes out of no where. It kinda just attacks you like ready to go, we’re all ready to rock and roll. And nobody is ringing the phone like ‘hey Johnny you got this set number’, and this guy has this number or what ever. No body knows anything. None of the producers have a set number on knowing what their going to do.

My thoughts exactly, Im not really active in hiphop anymore but I still listen to Pac and also bought Loyal to the game.. although it wasn’t really bad it didn't have that old Pac feeling over it and they really should have skipped those G-unit artist

Why should Amaru take 50s offer after he clearly disrespected Pac when he made that Hail Mary Remix? Nuff said.
How was that disrespecting Pac?... So Pac was disrespecting Bruce Hornsby when he made Changes?
