2pacs transformation after jail (2pac’s books)

#1
2pac always stressed how he got his power from books , thinking and strategizing in many interviews . How do you all think the books 2pac read during jail changed his whole persona? He seemed 2 be on a whole new level then b4 which is another reason his Makaveli era was so gr8.

I’m talking about books such as” The Psychedelic Experience- A Manual Based on the Tibetan Book of the Dead , The Meaning of Masonry , The Complete Illustrated Book of the Psychic Sciences , The Psychic Realm , Imitation of Christ , Teachings of the Buddha , The Wisdom of Insecurity , ect. . These are books most people would either not understand or just plainly be uninterested in. I was also surprised to see how 2pac was so into the psychic realm and other new realms of consciousness. Also how he would also bring up topics such as “black Jesus” and how people want to darken his shine and self esteem issues all seemed to come from the pieces of literature he was reading with a 2pac twist on it.

Its hard 2 sum up but he seemed to be on a whole new plane after being shot and thrown in jail. It was almost a reincarnation. Particularly when he was in jail , his interviews seemed more tranquil and calm compared to when he was out. When he came out he was basically a psycho revolutionary on a mission with crazy vision.

Really I already have my own view on all this but I just wanted to see what you fellow 2pac fans thought about this.

i don't think the books tupac read were the reason for his change of persona so much as the events that took place in his life at the time. the books probably just served as fuel to the fire. he got the name makaveli and the concept of coming back to destroy his enemies from machiavelli's book, but i still think pac would have come at biggie, and i still think he would have changed when he came to death row, regardless of what books he read in prison.

then again, i could easily be so very very wrong.
