2Pac's; breathing on the mic

#1
i was just wondering on which tracks does 2pac seem to breath very heavily on (between vocals)? (or where its noticeable?) the only track that comes to mind without listening too close is crooked nigga too. Its amazing how 2pac had so many raw songs which required alot of energy and that he still managed to record them without heavy breaths.

^^ an example, in the song crooked nigga too between 29-33 seconds you hear pac take 3 deep breaths clearly between vocals, aswell as throughout the track.

Well i dont know about Pac, but some edit them out of the vocal track, plus "effects" to the acapella can reduce them more, or increase the sound of the breathing.

2pac wasnt 2 bad about breathin on the mic

Biggie and Big Pun wer notorious 4 it tho...
lol well look at the size of those guys, what do you expect? especially with Pun, he could probably inhale a small child whenever he took a breath

Stephen, Dante, Pittsey and I were chatting yesterday and I happened to mention how dope Pac's breath control is.

Pac made everything seem so effortless, which is why people often say he wasnt a great MC. Not even I fully appreciated his skill on the mic until I began rapping as a fulltime job. His flow in later years and breath control on some songs is remarkable.

Any acappelas you can get your hands on you can hear him breathing.

i love the dear mama one cause you can hear him turn the page on his notebook. It just seems really eerie to me for some reason. Like you're there.

why on gods earth do you want to know the names of tupac songs where he is breathing heavily?

anyway, vocal compression has a funny way of some times making the breathing a lot more audible, depending on the compression ratio.
