2pac Walk of Fame/ March Update& Thank You's

Sup everybody sorry I been real busy to hit up the site and update the folks.
Basically we been laying low focusing on the paperwork to submit the official nomination form by the May 31st deadline. We have been in heavy contact with both Afeni and her people and the Hollywood folks.
Mil spoke with Afeni and Glo her sister and Kastro's mother and again they were so touched by the idea and the fan support and so overwhelmed by the project that made us just work harder. Like Mil said man we will do everyhting to fight till the end. Just to let people know rightaway Afeni offered to pay the fee and we still told her that we want to present this as a gift from the fans. But at least if somehow we cannot raise the $15,000 which I am sure we can but if we fall short Afeni has offered to pay in an instant but we are doing this to put a smile on her face on the 10 year aniversary and we will do our best with various fundraising ideas.

Also as far as the nomination process we will recieve official paperwork from the Estate to submit and are working hard on the Qualifications sheet along with the estate. Also the lady helping us from the Hollywood committee has offered to review the application to make sure everyhting is correct before we submit it.

We might ask the fans help to gvie input on the Qualifications sheet which is basically 5 pages to write why 2pac was important like I had asked in the first post to list all his accomplishments as an artist and also what the commitee really values is Charitable Contributions so if anyone has any links from interviews where Pac talked about helping and doing charity please post them, I have managed to find a couple but the more we have the better. Also Molly from the estate is helping out a lot putting this together along with Sharmeen from this forum and plus I know everybody else hea has our back.

Some little known facts about Tupac:
The parents of a dying boy wrote to Tupac telling him their kid's last wish was to meet him. Tupac flew to his side in Maryland, and after the boy died, he renamed his publishing company Joshua's Dream.
Tupac helped pass out 850 toys to kids at Foster Elementary School in Compton.
On Thanksgiving, Death Row paid for free food to be passed out on the block of a South Central L.A. community center at 11 a.m. Tupac helped pass out $400,000 worth of turkeys.
Tupac took the step daughter of a murdered friend to her prom.
Tupac went to the House of Blues and noticed there was nobody dancing with a woman in a wheelchair. He danced with her for four hours.

Charity

Tupac had always been involved in charity, both him and Suge Knight had handed out turkeys to less fortunate families for Thanks Giving.

Tupac had plans to make calendars of himself and other stars and donate the proceeds to charity. He also wanted to set up a youth Base Ball league in California, where all the participating kids had to be drug and crime free, and be doing well in school. He hoped to tour the schools and set up free concerts for the students, where only B average students could attend. Tupac also had plans to set up youth house throughout the ghettos, where homeless teens could find a place to stay, food, and support. He also had plans for a 1800 number for troubled teens to call and be able to talk to someone, including himself. Tupac also wanted to build community centers with sports facilities for youths to use, such as basketball courts, in a hope to keep them off the streets.
