2pac- "Supreme Euthanasia"

#1
I just picked up a new Pac book for my collection and I was looking through it and came to some facts that I was unaware of.

First, let me start of in explaining the book. The book is entitled Tupac Shakur: Legacy Author: Jamal Joesph. Copyright 2006.

This is the greatest Tupac book that I own. To try and sum it up with as little words possible it is a pop-up book for adults. Nearly everytime you flip the page there are REPRODUCTIONS of hand written 2pac: Tracklists, poems, notebooks, handwritten videos directions, the menu and design of his resturant. This pieces of paper look extremly life like, almost as if they were the real deal. They are enclosed in small clear plastic sleeves which fit right back into the book.

Then I came to a section of the book in which i had never read, heard anyone discuss. The following handwritten 2pac tracklist for a 2pac album entitled "Euthanasia"

1.Intro
2.Ride on 'em (featuring Outlaw Immortalz)
3.When I get free
4.Life goez on
5.Secrets of War
6.Wonda why the call u
7.Skandalouz (featuring Jodeci)
8.Only God can judge me
9.Da Struggle Continuez (featuring Chuck D, Kam, & Sista Solja)
10.Til I C L.A (w/ snoop dogg, nate dogg, and kurupt)
11.Enemiez with me
12.The heartz of men (w/Raekwon and Kool G. Rap)
13.Suka 4 love
14.Somebody Soon(outro)(featuring Herman Ferguson)

Signed Tupac A. Shakur October 4, 1995 *First Draft* *LateNite*
-Release in March.

This tracklist is followed by the following tracklist on a seperate piece of paper entitled:

**This piece of paper is dated sept 13, 1995. Proposed released date 5-1-96.

I have lots of questions about these tracklists and don't know where to begin. I am unsure about how much of this is actually recorded and how much of this is just how Pac wants it to be. If anyone could shed some insight onto this subject please feel free to let the rest of us know.

Tried to do the best i could since i am typing a handwritten tracklist. If there is anything anyone is unclear of I will be more than happy to fix it and or move things around.

^from what i understood from the book (havent read it in entirity, but ive read the page this tracklisting appears on multiple times) is that this tracklist was created after the during or right after makaveli was finished. Dont know for sure because there is very little talk in the book about this tracklist. It has a few paragraphs and then when u flip the page it starts a new topic all together.

If they were dated Septembr 1995 (Right around the time or right before Pac got out) then theyre not from Makaveli era. They are probably a list of songs he wanted to record for his first album out. Notice he said release 5/1/96 (The real double-album was released a good 3 months prior 2 this which shows that Pac exceeds even his own expectations) I dont know about the guests, but i think I read somewhere that he wanted CHuck D & Sista Souljah on Struggle Continues when he was in jail but when he got out they didint want to do it or something.

As I said the songs were recorded and 5/1/96 was the proposed release date, not when he expected to finish it.

By the way he did record "Da Struggle Continuez" with Chuck D.
It WERE conceptual tracklistS. Most songs on them were realized, but perhaps not all. For example: Hold Ya Head wasn't recorded until the Makaveli sessions.

On the video Remembering Makaveli 3, 2pac has an interview with tabitha and mentions his album and the name he gave out was Euthanasia, and says he had 28 tracks ready for that album, and he also mentioned that it was completed in 2 weeks. The song Don't Fall Asleep was a track that was removed from that album for some reason. In that same video he was with Bill Billamy on his mtv show and he mentions his album to be called All eyez on me and he explains why he names it that. He also did mention having 28 tracks for that album. Maybe he couldnt get the people he wanted too on his album because he was working too fast and those people couldnt make it in time so he just went alont with what he had available for those 2 weeks.

Those tracklists look to-die-for. Especially the Struggle Continuez and Wu tracks :thumb:
