2006 Album (Songs You Demand In O.G.)

For the supposed "final" 2Pac album to be released in '06, there are some unreleased songs that in O.G. form should not be tampered with.

If you could demand 1-2 songs that Amaru keep in O.G. form, what would they be?

And don't say all, because we know that won't happen...




1. Don't Stop the Music - o.g w/Val Young/Fatal/Edi
(they've gotta get this sample cleared/ i don't care what it takes) (the layzie bone version sucks so bad, layzie shouldn't try to sing).


2. Pac's Life - og w/Prince sample (is a must). :thumb:

Yeah, Pac's Life would be cool as an outro.

Don't Stop the Music could be an intro or maybe Disc 2 intro.


For some reason, i'd like them to remix Play Your Cards Right, (Pac was talkin' about doing a collabo w/D'Angelo on the All Eyez On Me photo-shoot), I'd be interested to hear D'Angelo do a chorus on that song (instead of the typical KC & Jojo) but keep the o.g verses.

i dont think there will be any originals, but im hoping for street life. i listen to that every day and it would be great to hear a cdq version. i hope amaru clear some samples, they are a fucking record label and its not like they arent gona make some loot off this so why not put out a decent release to end the cd-line of a legacy so great.
still, i doubt whether amaru can resist the temptation and not release more albums. i predict that tupac albums will keep coming for more years. i see no end as long as theres money to make.

But i think Don't Stop the Music O.G. would be a banger, especially as a Disc 2 intro (kinda like Can't C Me starts off on AEOM Disc 2).

House of pain is a good song but the production of the OG is terrible, same with Pacs life its a good song but could be produced better.

House Of Pain can't be released by Amaru because Bad Boy owns the rights to it.

They better not remix Soon As I Get Home. KEEP IT AS IS with Kadafi, the same beat, and everything.

House Of Pain can't be released by Amaru because Bad Boy owns the rights to it.

Actually Interscope/Amaru own the rights to 2Pac's verse from House Of Pain I believe but it is unclear if they have a DAT of it since it was recorded at Bad Boy.

Amaru was saying something about having Prince be on tha new album because one of tha songs was gonna have a Prince sample. I also remember reading that this song that sampled Prince was gonna be tha name of tha album. Maybe tha new album is gonna be called Pac's Life .

Keep em all OG and release at least 1 of those songs as a video. We want a hard Pac song as a single, not no soft song. We need to show people that Pac can still bring tha HARD, GANGSTA beats.

How can you guys demand the OGs when we don't even really know what the tracklist is?

I agree with a lot of stuff though, Street Life would be a nice CDQ OG for Amaru to release... I also want to hear Time After Time in CDQ OG form. All we have is the shitty edited version

Street Life would be OK, but for some reason I can't really see them releasing the track unless Snoop redoes/drops a new verse for it.
