In 1995, Keith “K Slack” Slack made his first music debut, ever since he has been passionate about music. His destiny began to take form once he moved to Durham, NC. Even though Durham wasn’t known for it’s hip-hop scene there was many young artist on the rise that influenced K Slack. K Slack began to sharpen his skills by rappin’ at lunch in school; watching emcee battles and calling into the local radio station every chance he could to get on air. Inspired by Redman, Jay-Z, Nas & Dr Dre. His motivation was to cultivate the East, South and West Coast for a diversified sound that would appeal to the masses. K Slack also recognize another forte as a producer, by learning from Khrysis, 9th Wonder & Ski Beatz premier producers from North Carolina. He later formed a group called Thethyrday which granted him the opportunity to be on both spectrums of the musical process, this provided an advantage over most artist on the rise. K Slack ability to express himself through instrumentals and lyrics is the driving force for his love of hip hop, Coping with death, trials and tribulations the birth of his son has giving him the real life experience that has inspired him to seize every opportunity to reach his audience. K Slack lyrics echos the very thing that he lives by, “Last Night I had a dream, my vision, writing a classic/ back at it, next morning, had to work my magic/ So Tragic, dreaming of deaths taking my last breathe/ so every sec, I'ma use it til there's nothing left/" All My Dreams- K Slack & "No Mercy, going in for the Kill/ Half Producer Half artist, double threat for real" Again & Again- K Slack K Slack has opened for major artist like Masta Ace, Little Brother, Ludacris & KRS One.
