? About the Makaveli album

#1
okay i know the album took 7 days or whatever but did pac really record all his parts in 3 days because if he did that further promotes the fact that this man was a musical genius. in the old xxl magazine where they breakdown the recording of the album Darryl Harper said that pac had all of his vocals recorded in 3 days and that the other 4 days were just used to mix the album. it was also said by somebody that he originally recorded 22 songs in that period but i dont think thats true because he would have to be doing 7 songs a day but then again he completed 8 songs the day he got outta prison and flew from ny to cali for the all eyez on me album. i mentioned the makaveli album being laid in 3 days before and Dante said that it wasnt so i was just wondering if any1 had any info on this.

^ First of all, whether he did it in 3 or 7, makes no difference in terms of the fact that he was a musical genius (obviously).

I think the tracks he ended up using were all done in 7 days. I think he was initially going to use songs that he made in 3 days (based on him saying 3 day theory in Krazy) but then over the next 4 days ended up making songs that wound up on the album, thus making it the 7 day theory (as he says 7 days at the end of Hail Mary)

yeah i think the whole
of what people call the Makaveli sessions were over two weeks, something like that.

^^not sure if anybody knows for sure yet on the three to seven change but the theory that other songs makin the cut were stretched over four additioanl days would be as solid as any

^^^ im not sayin that it made a difference im just sayin that it further solidifies his case that the man is a musical genius because ppl always giving pac shit and flack about his music and his lyrics sayin that hes too repetitive etc.
