Check out Freddie Foxx living up to his Bumpy Knuckles alias last night at Statik Selktah’s 100 Proof album release party at S.O.B.’s in New York. That’s Freddie in the brown FCUK beanie, and apparently he layed the dude in purple out. It’s 2010 and no FlipCam video?

Jay-Z’s “Forever Young” bares a striking resemblance to German rapper Bushido’s song “Für immer jung,” which was released in 2008 through Universal. Both songs sample Alphaville’s original, but the question remains, did Jay-Z get the idea from Bushido?

Bushido’s record label, Universal, previously sued EMI for copyright violation when MIMS album cover for Music Is My Savior copied the artwork for Bushido’s Deutschland Gib Mir Ein Mic.

Here’s the video for Bushido’s version, with Jay-Z’s after the jump.

If you’re watching the Grammys right now and wondering where the hell the Hip-Hop awards are, well, they’re not televised this year. What the hell is that bullshit? Anyway, hit the jump for the list of winners that were announced before the show. Winners in bold.

Grammys, I’m really happy for you, and I’m gonna let you finish, but Hip-Hop deserved to be televised too.

DJ Khaled caught up with Vibe to discuss his upcoming album, Victory, and it being Shyne’s first appearance since being released from jail.

I still don’t get how Khaled manages to get such star-studded features all the time.

Props to TMZ and Game, this is like one of the best casual interviews I’ve ever seen done with a rapper. Game dropped by TMZ studios after Tila Tequila tweeted that he was the father of the baby she is pregnant with. Ok, rewind, who is Tila Tequila I hope you ask (I still have faith in humanity)? She’s an (attention) whore who was made famous on MySpace and reality TV and has completely lost control.

Over the past six months she accused her then boyfriend Shawn Merriman of beating her, but was found to be lying, said she was pregnant with a baby for her brother, also a lie, then was “engaged” to Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson who tragically died which allowed Tila to go on an attention seeking frenzy as she “mourned” for her “wife” (whom she knew less than a month) while posing provocatively for the paparazzi and claimed she knew Casey better than her life long friends and family, who she accused of killing Casey’s dogs of all things (lie). Johnson’s body was found in her house after having been dead for days, where was Tila then? Anyway, that is neither here nor there right now because now that that controversy has faded, Tila, obviously afraid of drifting off of the gossip blog radar, has said she is pregnant with Game’s baby.

Apparently in between whoring herself and mourning she had time to fuck Game, who denies even knowing her, which brings us to the TMZ interview.

Game also talks about Tiger Woods, Obama, 50 Cent, the Super Bowl, OJ Simpson, Kim Kardashian, Bow Wow owing him $85,000, and a lot more. Props to TMZ for actually flat out asking Game about appearing on “Change of Heart,” it’s the first time I’ve seen him talking about it.

Haystak disses a multitude of rappers while drunk in this video. He goes off on Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Kanye West, Tony Yayo, Game, Ludacris, DJ Unk, Russell Simmons and Shawwna.

I’m tellin’ you Haystak, you definitely opened a war with some of these rappers that came out of your drunken mouth, no respect at all. He does shout out Young Buck though.

tiT.I. is back to claim his throne. One month after being released into a halfway house, Tip is already working on a new album. Jim Jonsin who assisted with “Whatever You Like” is also working on the album. The self proclaimed King of the South isn’t letting his lockdown dampen his music career. According to Jim Jonsin, it doesn’t appear The King missed a step at all. Jonsin sent some music via e-mail and said Tip is definitely sounding great and is readying an album for this year. He also said T.I. is only allowed to “work” during the week and not the weekend.

T.I. served seven months behind bars on weapon charges. I just hope this new album will be just as tight if not better then Paper Trail. We missed you King!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy they’re reuniting and hopefully going to drop an album, but does anyone else feel like this is only happening because Slaughterhouse has proved the formula is successful in today’s Hip-Hop world?

Ok, I can already see the hate comments saying “this isn’t news,” but fuck it, this is funny. Joe Budden’s ex Tahiry clowns on Joe Buddens newer ex, whatever her name is. And somehow I dont think it’s a coincidence T Word is talking about Joe again; she has a new website to promote and it’s not like she’s famous for doing anything other than Joe Budden.

Mystikal called in to speak with Greg Streets after being released from prison. This was the first interview. Mystikal speaks on Soulja Slim’s death, contact with Master P and much more. Watch yaself!

*Note: I have to speak on this matter because I feel the need to back up Caesar on this entire Mystikal matter. As the most famous Hip Hop dedicated website on the Internet, we keep you closely updated with the latest in News in the game presently. We have the right to post opinions on certain matters and you as fans or readers do have the option to not read anything we say and post. Caesar made a general statement on welcoming home Mystikal after being locked up for six years on the charges he received. Caesar made it very clear that he does not condone any of the acts that were previously stated regarding why Mystikal was locked up.

It’s okay to welcome home T.I. when he was released but not okay to welcome home Mystikal regardless of why he was incarcerated? Caesar made no disregard to the allegations against Mystikal nor did he praise it. If you do not want to read our opinions or posts, you don’t have to. As far as bashing Caesar, it’s childish and completely out of context. If you don’t like what I’ve posted, don’t read it. It’s as simple as that. Let’s not have flashbacks of third grade on who said what and who didn’t say what.

Benzino

Benzino has formed a group with the sole purpose of dissing Slaughterhouse. Here is the first track. The only good thing to probably come from this is Slaughterhouse’s response…

mystikal

Does anybody remember the one time chart topping No Limit hit maker Mysitkal? He was locked up for 6 years for making his hairstylist perform sexual acts on him while his bodyguard video taped them.

Well, he’s being released from jail tomorrow. Six years in the pen and ten years without an album, I wonder if he’ll go back to music? Welcome home either way.

*Note: People seem to be upset about my use of “Welcome home either way” because of his conviction. Firstly I am not a judge, nor am I in law enforcement, nor am I someone’s punisher, nor is that my responsibility. I say similar in all posts related to rappers being released from prison, whether they be released on weapons chargers (T.I.) or shootings in nightclubs (Shyne), where are you all then? Is attempted murder more excusable in your eyes? Regardless, the fact is that Mystical was sentenced to six years in prison. He has served his sentence and I have to believe that he has been rehabilitated and paid his debt to society, suggesting otherwise would suggest incompetence in the United States legal and justice system. Mystical was tried, convicted, and has served his time, justice was served in the eyes of the law and he has been seen fit to release back into society. I in no way condone what he did or support what he did, but my “welcome home either way” remark doesn’t suggest anything of the sort, it is simply, and only, a figure of speech directed at a former inmate who has served his time.

And considering the fact that all the comments below expressing a problem with what I said come from only two IP addresses posting under different aliases, I think it’s more of a case of one or two people having a problem and not the majority; but I still felt like clearing it up because I certainly do not support crimes against women.

BenzinoIt’s officially sunken to a new a low. Benzino has formed a team of “lyrical assassins” to diss Slaughterhouse. Zino has teamed up with a cat from DC called Pop, a dude from Brooklyn who calls himself Streets and a supposed surprise for the last one. Benzino reportedly had a interview regarding the situation and here’s what he had to say:

“I just feel like the music that I’m doing and the people that I’m around working with are better than Slaughterhouse. What I’mma do now, I put together this group to specifically go at them. It’s gonna be a cat from DC by the name of Pop, this other kid from Brooklyn by the name of Streets, and I got a surprise for the last one. I got them together just to go at these guys, but more or less to show the Internet world.”

If you missed the beginning of the beef; here are a few links. The links are in chronological order.

lloyd_banks
After being arrested, released on $50,000 bail, and then detained by immigration, Lloyd Banks is now free and returning to the US. Two of the other three guys that were arrested along with Banks for the assault of Chris Hines left Canada yesterday not having any immigration problems, but one Nicklas Sloane is still being detained by immigration for unknown reasons.

So now Banks will probably be banned from entering Canada, Tony Yayo already is, so who is 50 Cent going to use as a hype man when he does shows up north?
