On May 21st, 1972 Christopher George Latore Wallace was born in Brooklyn, New York. In 1994, he became known as the Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls to some and released his debut album Ready To Die. On March 9th, 1997 was Biggie Ready To Die? He was gunned down in his SUV and killed. He died at the age of 25. The question still remains…WAS he ready to die? Is it coincidental that his debut album was telling the world he wasn’t afraid to die? Or did he know his death was imminent? 16 days after he was murdered, his posthumous album Life After Death was released and hit #1 on the Billboard 200 charts.
Personally, I believe he had a premonition of death. Perhaps he wasn’t aware it’d be sooner than later.
R.I.P. Biggie!
2Pac‘s videographer Gobi M. Rahimi followed him in the last of his following months of his life before he was shot on September 7th, 1996. Gobi also says Suge Knight was never shot, but received stitches for either shrapnel or glass cuts to his head. Below is details on the 7 Dayz Documentary as well as more info regarding that fatal night.
At this point, it’s just another notch in Earl’s belt. DMX was arrested and released early yesterday morning in South Carolina after being stopped for driving on a suspended license. Anyone else notice how he tries to play the victim? You had your daughter in the car my dude. SMH.
“When I could have just paid the money right there on the spot,” Simmons told FOX Carolina. “Basically it was just five hours wasted for nothing. I don’t have a court date or a court appearance.” He said he also had his five-month-old daughter in the car when he was arrested.
Jim Jones was arrested in New Jersey yesterday for disorderly conduct. TMZ also reported that he was picked up for two warrants stemming from a motor vehicle violation and failure of snow removal from property. This all came about when an officer responded to a parking situation at his home. Damn, Capo.

With drama growing on the show, the cast of Love & Hip Hop were interviewed on Hot 97. During an intermission, Joe Budden decided to confront Consequence, who promptly backed down and denied having any problem with Joey.
People instantly commented that Cons came across a little soft, so the rapper had this to say in his defence on Twitter (but later deleted the statement):
So Joe didn’t Walk out & come back once he got the Heart 2 Holla? I just explained things so the company I was with off cam didn’t blitz. Where’s that footage??? And where’s the footage of Joe talking Jen??? #Reaching. I PROMISE that Edit is BOGUS… But it’s COOL. Believe what you want. NO MORE TALKING #StraightLikeThat
What do you guys think?
According to reports, Rick Ross was shot at after leaving club Liv in Ft. Lauderdale. Below is the news report from this incident. No injuries or arrests have been stated.
I don’t know whether to laugh or agree with Game on this. Anyway, Jayceon goes on Big Boi’s radio show and furthers the beef between him and Shyne. The “low key butt pirate” line was good though.
