15-year old Brayel Kelly (nephew of R&B singer R. Kelly) is now in intensive care after he was shot twice for attempting to rob a barbershop in the Chicago area.

The incident took place last night (November 6) after Brayel finished receiving a haircut.

Brayel pulled out a weapon and demanded that the owner hand him his money and jewelry and place it inside a plastic bag.

Upon the incident, police responded to a call and found Brandon Kelly, older brother of Brayel, just two blocks away from the crime scene.

Brandon was found shot in the back while acting as a look-out for Brayel.

Both brothers are in police custody on charges of attempted armed-robbery.
