Tesco Express
Anyone from the UK shop there?
I know there are other Tesco store brands, but that one specifically.

Um....there was one outside the BBC building where I used to work, I would go and get lunch there most days.
Why?
Regular Tesco's are the largest, then Tesco Metro, and then Tesco Express - which as the name suggests is the smallest.

You normally find a Tesco Express attached to a Petrol station.

Tesco Extra are the largest. The largest Tesco Extra in the UK is here in Peterborough, some times known as "Serpentine Green".

Sometimes...it's like a convenience store with tesco prices. Which is good.

We have them here too. They are like regular small shops with basic stuff like cigarettes, newspapers, food and drinks.

they have these express serve yourself machines in my local tesco, there was one i used in asda and asked for £10 cashback and it gave me 2 x £10 notes, i thought nice one! the machine then started to flash error messages onscreen and i promptly left the store

he wasnt talking about self checkouts.
though i do love it when some one doesnt collect the notes from below the scanner when they finish their shopping and leave me with a free £10 note (this has happened about 4 times since they introduced them).

this is wierd, i had a dream last night i was in macdonalds express cue, i was first in the cue and the restaurant was empty, i asked for a double cheeseburger meal politely and was told by the counter lady that i couldnt have my meal unless i had an express voucher/coupon ... i thought wtf! and didnt have a coupon, i didnt even have it in me to magically procure one out of nowhere in my dream - i do that sometimes, magically produce stuff out of nowhere to aid the quest in my dream - anyways, i cursed the woman who was now behind a protective glass like those in a bank, and told her i would go and get a drive through instead, and headed off to kfc. i know my post has nothing to do with tesco express, but then i am more familiar with express cues at macd's, just thought id share it
