I didn't say she quoted Lincoln, I said she was playing off a Lincoln quote or something that at extent. I posted two different speeches that it could be refering too and posted a fact check site that does it's homework which came the conclusion she was taking from a speech. Again, not quoting him word for word. If you read the article I posted, you would see that you are looking at her comments out of context. In the context of what she was saying it makes more sense. Given the venue and audience she was in it makes even more sense. What she was saying was more to the extent of having faith in god.

Man, you just said it yourself. it could refer to a speech 100 years ago. I believe that they were tryin to find something it could refer to, I don't think she knew about the old speech by Lincoln at all when she gave her speech. You say I should read the article and would see that they were taken out of context. I don't need to do it, I already posted a link 2 the whole speech, how could that be taken out of context? And if you watch the speech, in my opinion, it's clear that she wasn't quoting or refering to nobody. You ignore also the question about the pipline, she is also saying that people should pray for the pipline which is just totally stupid, no AL excuse possible there. Just watch the video, here it is once more: YouTube - Palin's Church May Have Shaped Controversial Worldview
How can you say she's refering to someone else's speech the way she is talking, I really don't know, I'm watching it once more right now.

I'm saying you are ignoring this article.
PolitiFact | Not far from Lincoln's sentiment
You wont even give it the time of day? Are you that hateful towards her that you just want to view her in the light that you do? Palin and Lincoln's words both expressed similar sintement.
Do you honestly believe that her people just one day said "oh crap, Palin said this that could be used against us. Let's search high and low for some obscure words that we can say she was taking it from". That is a bit far fetched. Do you not think she might have read a few book on presidents or history in her time? Do you think that because she is from a small town she must be some dumb illiterate fool?
When you only quote that it's "god's will" from a speech she gave when talking about troops in Iraq and making it out to be that she is talkinb about a holy war, it is taking out of context. As I said, it is obvious when you look at it in full context she is talking about having faith in god and that what the troops are doing is right and more importantly to pray for them. Given the setting, the fact that her son is in the army, and many of the people she was speaking to had family in the military, it's not that crazy. You are making it out to be far more than what it is.

Please please please. You must admit, despite being a staunch republican, that Sarah Palin has the IQ of Forrest Gump. You just have to admit that. Hell, if Obama had selected her and she was a democrat, I would be on here saying the same thing. Who is this fucking retard?
It's just common sense.

i was watchin the debate last night for a few seconds, and it had the audience reaction meter, and every time mccain would come on it would drop, steeply. that made me laugh hard.
the end.
