AC Milan wins their first match of the season. The attack looked good, led by Pato who should have nailed a hat-trick.
The back is shaky though....

I think the Italian league will be very interesting this season. Inter is on the defensive with their title holding, AC's younger talents seem to be coming through, Juve looks properly recovered from their relegation drama. Could be a coin toss.
Anyway, Germany was interesting today. Bayern losing where they should've won. Leverkusen going big. I don't rule out the possibility of Bayern suddenly playing omgwtf-like once Louis has them going. Right now the results are going against them, but they faced two tough opponents and had one fuck-up in which they were still clearly the better side. I think Bayern will recover and make a strong push for the title. I think Wolfsburg can contend as well, with their magical triangle still intact. I know everyone's whining about the magical triangle and I don't wanna jump on the bandwagon, but the value of keeping your brilliant offense together can't be underestimated.
Leverkusen is doing well so far, maybe they can make a little jump in the rankings this year. Schalke, i'll give them some time for Qualix to work his magic. Stuttgart, i have no opinion on them yet. Werder, ditto. HSV has bought really well imo with Elia and Berg. Of course you can think I'm biased cos these lads come from the Eredivisie and while thats partially true, especially with Elia of course (Twente!!!) the neutral spectator in me still says "class players". HSV could do very well with these two boys upfront.
In Dutchland, nothing much is happening. Just getting to our fourth round, 4 sides with 7 pts, few with 6, few with 5, all big sides represented in the upper echelon. Not many real false starts.
VVV could be the revelation of the season. Especially Keisuke Honda. He's wtf-pwn good, even though he plays in a Dutch relegation side, lol. The pricetag is currently 10 million. Yeah you read that right. You think overhyped? Well, VVV played 4 matches, including PSV, drew all four. 9 goals gainst, 9 goals for. Guess how many goals Honda scored. Yeah, five. Two assists. As a attacking midfielder. Say hi to Japans talent.
Honda won't leave for a foreign club (yet), he likes the Netherlands lol, his only options are Ajax and PSV if they're concrete. Now neither clubs really has the practical funds to buy him at this point, especially considering both clubs have a important player on his specific position already (Aissati and Afellay). BUT, should Afellay be sold before the window closes, it's a 85% bet PSV will get Honda.
Future gem, mark my words. Keisuke Honda.

^^i prefer a Toyota myself lol
Liverpool were linked with Keisuke Honda last week. Liverpool scouts were at one of the VVV Venlo games to watch him.
After what you said, i hope they sign him. we need to sign young talents like this. but probably best for the player if he stays in Holland for another few years.
Shinji Ono was a pretty good japanese player as well. Looked awesome at Feyenoord. kind of went to shit though didnt he?
Quote:
Liverpool are reportedly keeping a close eye on Japan international Keisuke Honda, who is currently plying his trade in Holland with VVV Venlo.
Chairman of the eredivisie club, Hai Berden, has revealed several top European clubs have expressed their interest in signing the free-scoring midfielder.
Honda, who was Eerste Divisie's Most Valuable Player last year, has started life in the Eredivisie in style with three goals in his first two games.
In the season opener against PSV Eindhoven, his impressive display won him plaudits from opposing manager Fred Rutten.
"A number of top clubs are interested in Honda. Some of them are participating in the Champions League this year," Berden told Algemeen Dagblad.
Liverpool scouts have been watching Honda this term and the 23 year-old admitted he would not hesitate to move to England if the opportunity arose.
"Playing in a league as prestigious as the Premier League would be a dream," he said earlier in the year.
"I would seriously consider any offers that come my way."

Thuggy is full of shit as always
And yeah Ono was good at Feyenoord. Can't even remember where he went after that. Didn't turn out that brilliant.
Honda is like...five times better than Ono. Nakamura has nothing on him as well.

I think Ono went to Germany. Eintracht Frankfurt maybe?
Nakata was a nice player but very over-rated.

Crap didn't see this...
FK Sarajevo are strong, they are one win away from the Europa League... Siroki Brijeg and the motherfuckers that I hate more than anything else on this fucking world Zrinjski Mostar.
Most of the teams sell all of their players when they win the league or reach Europe so they lose in the first two qualifying rounds...
My Velez Mostar used to kick ass in Europe before the war. I'm hoping we get back on that. Half of our team is in the Bosnian U21 side, which is not bad at all.
And fuck you David, we only sold you a couple of players. One of them was Sliskovic. A man who recieved a damn pumpkin on his head the first time he came back to Mostar, got pissed off and got a red card. tee hee.

Wolfsburg 2-4 HSV. Great game.
Misimovic is a God... Dzeko didn't score today, feels weird.
Ibisevic didn't score in his first 3 games back for Hoffenheim, he constantly has 2 players on him, it's crazy...
