I just watched it. It's really good. Will Smith is amazing in it, again. The end is alright.

I have a question though...They kept saying that the infected had no emotions and that the "boss" went to the light to get his food or w.e.

But I thought that the reason he went outside and that he wanted to kill Will Smith so bad is because Will took his girlfriend or sister or whatever... Hence the human emotions are not extinct...

No, Will said that the boss didn't display simple, typical behavior that humans display, which is what a human needs to know to survive. His conclusion was that the "dark seekers" are stripped from their ability to even know what they need for survival and go against their instincts, the instincts that they basically now don't even have. So, when the dark seeker went out, it's because he forgot it would kill him. Like a baby touching the stove, not realizing it can be hot. However, again, that was Will's conclusion. You can interpret the situation differently.

Well yeah, the dude loved her so much, that he didn't care if he was hurt, he wanted to help her...

It's like when some male animal would attack something or someone knowing that he will die but he will do so just to protect the female...

I think that Will's conslusion was actualy trying to show the fact that Smith has been blinded by despair and didn't want to believe that there is still some hope left... That can also be seen when he starts yelling at Anna saying that everybody is dead and that no one is alive, even if he has two living proofs infront of him...

And Stred, watching movies like these without thinking is boring.

Also, I read parts of the book, I think that the end of the book compared to the end of the movie is something else...

But it would suck to go see a movie about the last man alive and see a theatrical end of humanity...

It ends that he gets executed by the still living.(they were not in the movie, but they are like humans that are turning into the dark seekers, they are trying not to.) He killed both the seekers and the still living, because he has lost hope into humanity.

They were seing him as the one who was killing them. Like a mythical creature who was living during the day and was never present during the night. He understood that he became their legend. Hence the name of the book "I am Legend"
