Joe Budden and Ransom beef, fight, and video blog about it
By: Caesar Date: 12-29-2008 , 12:36 AM

You may have caught wind of this beef in our video section so I thought it would be news worthy to write up a little summary of events; especially considering the latest development.

This all began when Joe Budden made some statements about fellow New Jersey rapper Ransom and his personal dislike of being compared to him in a video that you can watch at the end of the article. Then DJ Vlad, who used to post on our old forum and allegedly passed off some of our own members remixes as his own for his 2Pac: Rap Phenomenon mixtapes, video interviewed Ransom for his website VladTV. Ransom let loose on Budden in the interview with allegations that he and Fabolous fucked Joe's girlfriend, and that Joe was broke. Vlad then cut the video up to highlight the insults (read: get hits) and threw it on his site.

Joe was of course pissed off and replied back with his own video (which we posted here) saying that he had recently after Ransom's video been to his house, smacked him, and caught it all on video. Ransom then allegedly ran into his house, grabbed a gun and fired shots in the air. Joe threatened to leak the footage of Ransom getting knocked if the rapper continued his dissing.

So now, like a day later, Ransom has released his own video where he and his crew roll up to Budden's best friend's house (why not Budden's anyway?) and when he isn't home, have a conversation with his brother who isn't even involved in the beef at all. One thing leads to another and one of Ransom's crew slap him.

After seeing the video Budden posted on his official forum reaffirming his opinion that they are "fags." Yet about five hours ago Budden posted a new video squashing the beef yet still dissing him; you kinda have to watch it at the end of this article to see it for yourself I don't feel like writing it all up, but basically Joe says Ransom is "faggot shit," but takes the L to stop it escalating any further and taking what he feels is the "high road."

Here are all the videos in order for your personal reference.

Budden is sitting there calling him a pussy and a faggot but just saying aiight enough is enough you dont want to die over this so let's stop it now.

That aint no L at all. It is the smartest thing Budden could do. If Ransom doesnt respond now, Joe had the last word and called him a bunch of names. If he does respond, Joe can say he was the bigger and better man by trying to stop it and Ransom is being immature by continuing it.

Basically, Joe just handed him a check mate. If doesnt respond he lost, if he responds he loses.

Real smart move by Joe.

Who gives a fuck about either of these guys anyways?
Budden had one good single, and fell off. But hey, that's one more than Ransom.
