this is where he will give me a date and the present will be expected to arrive. oh did i mention we had a postal strike in the uk? not forgetting, i havent really sent it out to him. so regardless, he's not getting the item not not, not ever. fool.#

we were trained a few months ago at work about security threats to the company and their systems, data etc...

they said that fraudsters try to take advantage of the fact that humans have a caring nature, a tendency to empathise and willingness to help others. so be wary of any threats as you may be vulnerable too.

also, check the email address of the sender of your emails i.e. paypal, ebay. this is something that the recipients and the victims may fail to notice.

Without reading the whole thread.

Paypal and ebay are one in the same company, both falsly advertise buyer and seller protection, do not buy into it, the best bet you got for a safe transaction is with people that have good feedback, if they have Negs look into it, see the comments etc....if they have 0 be very very weary.

FUCK PAYPAL, FUCK EBAY, THEY ARE LYING CORPORATE MF'ERS THAT RUN THEIR OWN SHIT WITH NO RECOURSE FROM ANY AUTHORITIES.

i was always wary of that. its my responsibility to buy or sell to or from someone who may have negative or insufficient feedback.

i just gave the guy a chance and see where it went because a sale was a sale made to me so long as it went smoothly and was completed successfully. unfortunately, things never went accordingly and now i can learn from this experience.

i still need to fill a few forms in and send them back to ebay. the listing fee was creditted back to myself as i was told; i just need to make sure and confirm that that is the case.
