I don't think he respects you.
what he's doing to you is what i've similarly done to this one girl and it was because I knew at the end of the day, she wouldn't be mad at me no matter what I did to her. I think that's lack of respect.

Playing games by not telling you where he is is not cool.
I guess he just wants you to chase him b/c according to him, he was trying to make it work, correct?
Just don't even call around hospitals or anything, that's what he wants.
Fuck him. He isn't over his ex if he went back with her, even if he wasn't with you, it still counts.

I'd say he wasn't over his ex while being with you if he went right back to her afterward. All he is doing is proving you right.
I don't think you should even bother with him. It's his fault. Not anyone else. What he wanted you to stay with him hoping that he'd forget the other ex? Doesn't work that way. You can't try to make it work when you are not over the other person you were with. Fact.
