Woody and Streds Random Adventures Part III: The Case Of The Flat Tire

There is a bit of a back story to this adventure so bare with me while i explain it.

A few weeks ago myself, stred and micka drove a few hundred kilometers to watch one of our friends play at a pub, he is a guitarist and singer. before the show kicked if we were removed from the pub so we had to drive back home.

fast forward 3 weeks and the same friend is playing in another town a few hundred kilometers away, but this time he is getting a lift with me and stred.

so its 5 p.m. friday afternoon and we decide to head off to this coastal town. on the way down i had a pair of sunglasses on to keep the glare out of my eyes. about 2 hours into the trip i realized the sunglasses were shit and looked gay so i threw them out the window. big mistake.

On the way down i decided to overtake this slow ass van, huge mistake. i didnt have enough speed up and then we went around a bend straight towards an oncoming car. we missed it by about 10 seconds, probably less its pretty much all a blur.

Once we arrived at our destination we went to the playground to get out and stretch our legs, and play on the giant flying fox. turns out the flying fox isnt as good as it was when we were younger because now when we go in it our ass hits the ground. so with an ass crack full of sand we decide to go to the other side of the park. while walking over there Stred starts eyeing off this little girl and looks up her dress as she is on the swing, after which he made the remark "i just seen her nickers". i thought it was best to leave the park before we got locked up.

driving back up the road i could not see shit because of the glare in my eyes. as we approach a roundabout stred shouts at the last minute "turn left" well i didnt turn fast enough and ended up going over the curb and popping the tire on some ornamental rocks. i see the hub cap off my piece of shit car go flying off and rolling down the street. i quickly pull over to inspect the damage. yep the fuckin tire is popped, and between the 3 of us in the car we have about the same automotive expertise as the 7 year old girl stred was checking out earlier. so we ring my dad and he tells us what to do to change the tire.

once the tire was changed we hopped back in the car to look for a tap for stred to wash his hands because they were all black n shit. we see an emergency fire hose on the side of the road so i pull over and stred gets out to was his hands. after realizing that the water was all recycled and dirty he turned the tap off and i went and found a service station so he could wash his hands. after he washed his hands we headed towards the venue our mate was playing at. once we parked the car we saw fire trucks going down the street and we got excited because we thought there was a fire, but we soon realized there was no smoke, and they were parked at the emergency fire hose. turns out there is an alarm that go's to the fire station when its activated. we hurried away and didnt mention a word of it the rest of the night.

so we saw our friend play and a couple of other acts that were on after him and then headed home. i got to bed at 4 am.
