Its funny. Trappatoni played Glenn Whealan in central midfield for Ireland yesterday. He had a good game and scored the second goal. But Glenn Whealan doesnt make the Stoke City starting XI whereas 2 other Irish midfielders,Rory Delap and Liam Lawrence make the team ahead of him but neither of them can get into the Irish squad.
Its great to have Steven Reid of Blackburn back to full fitness again. He is a quality player and was a big loss for both club and country while he was out. Hopefully he is over his injury troubles now.

yeah. Our keeper was good. He saved us.
I'm dissapointed with Dzeko, he should have shot that ball, it would've been a goal with a 1-0 for us right before half time after a missed penalty...

Yeah, I couldn't believe he went for the pass.
Villa's goal was a good finish, his penalty was so fucking poor though lol. I find it weird when a professional footballer can't hit the target from 12 yards. Especially a striker.

our defenders are still young, knowing that defenders are the best at 30-32 when they have a lot of experience.
