Love is a statement. It is a feeling, like when you're happy or sad. When you say "I love you" you are saying that I love your existence. I simply love you because you exist. I love being with you. Its your presence that I love. Even if we didn't have so much in common I would still love you. I love you, for you.

Love makes no sense.
Love frees us of all the weight and pain of life, but eventually no one can feel it until all the pain is gone. So although it is synonymous to the most powerful thing, it is also the weakest thing. One thing i do know is that, "Love is like war: Easy to begin but hard to end."

to me, love is what accumulates over time. i could call it love or i could call it "being very fucking used to each other". you grow to love anything you're exposed to over a long amount of time. they say most people fall in love with someone else roughly three times throughout a life-long marriage. it's 2008 and people are whores so a lot of people feel justified in moving on just because they fell in love with someone else. then they start dating someone else, get married, after a few years it's rinse and repeat. to me, love is what you get when you work past shit like that. when you don't take the easy route and listen to your stupid feelings. you wanna leave your girlfriend but don't, then when time passes by and your emotions go away (which they always do - for the life of me i don't understand why people are so caught up in their emotions. they WILL go away and mean nothing, so why are they a big deal?) and ultimately you realize you're glad you didn't. mo' overcome problems, mo lurwez.
