Its impossible for me to come up with a definition of love. I know how it feels like but whenever i want to describe it im thinking: "Nah, its way more than that. What i just said cant live up to the real meaning of love".

As far as i can tell, love means everything to me.

Love to you is the love-loss spread. The spread between having loved and having lost love. You only know love because you know pain. That's how you choose to quantify love because that's your experience of it. You didn't give a fuck about these pointless conceptual love questions until you lost your girl.

Well, if that's the case, that's true for me as well. I don't feel it's like what you said though, to me the memory is about how great it is to wake up in bed with someone. Then again, I don't ask conceptual questions about love (I think?).

First of all, im not trying to figure out a concept of love. I wouldnt be the first one to fail at this task. All i was trying to do was see what some of you would answer to this question....knowing that most of you would enter this thread and try to give a funny answer.

Thats just not true. I knew/felt what love is when i was still with her. I didnt just strike me on the day she left. But of course, losing her is part of what defines "my concept" of love.

Saying i didnt give a fuck about these questions before it was over is wrong too. Totally wrong. I asked myself nearly the same questions before the relationship and when i still had one. Now my answers to some of these questions might have changed, some didnt, but the fact that i always had these questions in my mind remains true.

love is accepting someone for all the annoying habits they have. taking the good with the bad and deciding this is what you want. love will hurt you, you will cry, you will be more sad than ever, you will think you cant live without the recipient of your love, and everyday you do it over and over again. physical pain, sickness, joy, happiness and physical benefits, love must have all these things. look past all the bullshit, let bitches talk, let guys hate, and just know that the two of you can surpass all expectations and stand on top of the mountain and look down on all the doubters and say fuck you we made it, and then you share that joy together. love is copacetic, one can love someone, but they are not "in love" until it is a shared love. when both are willing to give their lives for the other one just to live to breathe ten more seconds, its love. love isnt sending flowers to their work and bringing home chocolates, love is pushing, shoving, calling her a jealous pain in the ass after she calls you an ignorant asshole, then making up that night. knowing you cant live the life you want to live without her, and devoting the rest of your life to her happiness.

i'm nowhere close to being in love.
