I don't think a guy has to really work for it. You just have to put in a little effort and make it explicit that you're trying to hit. If she's not digging, then you move on. Sure it's hard work if the girl isn't down for it in the beginning...but you shouldn't waste time trying to coerce her into it, that's how I feel. That's assuming you're just looking for sex.

well i see it this way. an ugly girl who just wants sex can go into a club and start hitting on guys, and it's almost guaranteed she'll find someone to go home with. guys don't have that luxury. an ugly guy can go into a club and hit on every woman and most of the time will still come up empty. the point is that basically any woman can get a guy if sex is all she's looking for, but it isn't so for guys.
