I was just watching Dr. Phil (which i never ever do)...but today's show was interesting cuz there was this soon-to-be married couple that were having family problems (from both sides of the family).

The problem was that as the guy moved in with his finance, he kept away from his mom and acted like she didn't even exist, and because of his weak mind, it looked like his finance was controlling him to do things like telling him to keep away from his mom which he was agreeing to (cuz he obviously didn't do anything about it). The mother (from the grooms side) of course was sad and mad and whatever..and same with his aunt. They couldn't believe the person he had become cuz of this women (his finance).

The groom to be (imo) is a sell out to his own family. There is no excuse to shutout your family whatsoever. But like someone once told me, everyone has their reasons to do things...and I can't keep account for anyone else's decisions but my own...and that's what I will do.

My question is ... if you got married, would you purposely try and lose connection with your family or try and avoid them for your significant other (or just all on your own because in the end, its still your decision)?

A man needs to be a boss. Not a boss as in controlling his wife because controlling anyone is wrong...but every man has to be a man where he is independent and doing things on his own and that includes speaking for his right. If that guy (on Dr. Phil) only opened his mouth to show his wife who's boss this would've never happened.

You don't need to be the biggest, fastest or strongest to be king of the jungle, its all about the lions roar and thats still not about who has the loudest roar either, but its how you speak and what you say (I got that from a movie). A man has to know these things and I stress every man should know these things if he already doesn't.

Pussy is pussy. A man can get pussy anywhere, but for a women, good dick is hard to find and every women should respect that, as everyman should respect women.

I think over the past year or so I've changed my views, not because im bitter but because my faith is a lot stronger. I can't say what I would do for sure when I get married...but when I do...I pray to God I do not become like the guy on Dr. Phil.

Anyway, when I do get married I hope and pray God gives me the strength to be the boss. Not the ruler or the controller of the relationship, but to be the man. The man that takes matters into his own hands. The independent man.

Even after all the crazy animal monkey sex I have with my women, I hope that doesn't change me.

hmm, I'm studying finance but haven't come across those problems yet. I'll let you know later on.

You can't just say yes or no to this situation since the situation always has it's different reasons. Me on the other hand, NO bitch will ever come between me and my family. I broke up with a former ex because she would get mad when i would go out with my family so i dropped her on the spot.

Also just a side note Rahim, you say nothing will ever come between you and your family. But you seem to be the kind that will get INCREDIBLY whooped once u get yourself a girlfriend. You may deny it or say i dont know you but i know ALOT of fools like you and have seen them get played by their girls so many times it's not even funny.
