When I'm normal ppl think I'm pissed off or being a bitch.

When I try to be nice to ppl they think I'm trying to get with them and they either think we're going to have sex or try to give me hints that they're not interested and then I have to explain that I'm not flirting.

it's human nature. i know just what you mean. i can't not be happy without being sad, it seems. if i'm not smiling, i'm either sad or pissed.

if you allow me to become ever so analytical, based on ever so little real insight, i would say the root of the problem is that you care. you care that they think you're a pissed off bitch and you care that they think you're flirting. if a guy thinks you're flirting he's a cocky asshole if you're not really flirting, or he's misunderstanding. his mistake, not yours. it's not gonna jeopardize your future to have some strangers and semi-friends think you tried to flirt with them. as for the pissed off part, i really know what you mean because i have people asking me all the time if something's wrong, and when i say no they keep insisting. can't a guy be tired? however, my way of overcoming the annoyance is to just not care about it. they think i'm mad, okay, fine. i said i'm not once, if they want to doubt what i say, fine. if you normally don't play a lot of games, you can get away with that, alluding to the fact that you never play games and if people really know this, they won't have a reason not to trust you when you tell them you're not mad. if you're often mad without telling, on the other hand, you can't really blame people.

and i just spoke very very generally, i don't know what specific situation you are in so

The most recent incident was stupid...

My friend said I got him sick...so I said "I'm sorry...u want me to bring you soup?"

He said "Umm...no...I have a g.f."

Ok. I didn't ask if you wanted head!!!

This friend is sick bc he was all in my face when we went to the club...telling me how sexy I was and dancing on me while he was drunk and his g.f. was 5 feet away. I tried to play it off and ignore him bc I knew it would be awkward the next day for him. He doesn't remember but I do.

Well, the guy is obviously an idiot, so that's the point I'm trying to make. It's not something you just do, i very well know that, but why do you care what he thinks though? I would not only feel sad for him, but for his poor girlfriend. Imagine when she's talking about how great her boyfriend is to her friends, when really, you know he's a fucking idiot. Don't you feel better than his pathetic sorry self? I have social phobia to an extent so i'm familiar with the type of thoughts that may bother you. Shit like what if he's bragging about it to someone and it somehow ends up with someone throwing it in your face at a later time or something...? Again, this very problem you're having with how people interpret your moves and words is a problem i myself worked to overcome, so maybe i'm seeing too many parallels, but my solution to that was simply that as long as I haven't done something, it's not gonna bother me when people accuse me of having done it. In the end, choosing to not give a fuck about how someone thinks they percieve me is never gonna haunt me afterwards, it's not something i ever worry about. If someone confronts me with something I didn't do, I tell them I didn't do it and stop worrying about whether or not they believe me.

Cause I know you don't need someone to tell you this, but I'll say it anyway, you didn't cross any lines what so ever.

However, I also want to point out the misunderstanding factor. Maybe he simply meant, duh, i have a girlfriend, i have soup up to my ears. I don't think so and he didn't make it very clear that he was joking if that's what he meant, but meh. I guess I just want you to not give a fuck about that shit, lol, you'll feel so much better all the time. YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS!
