At the end of the day, females like to fuck as much as men. They enjoy it, they want it, and they like it. Some, of course, more than others - but ultimately each and everyone of them treasure the male penis. But a question rises - a dilemma emerges - and a cloud of doubt forms when females ask themselves if it is ok to just let loose and enjoy themselves. Who will find out? What will they say about me? Are people going to call me a slut?

I guess for a long time i was fighting alongside the female brigade, telling people that "if we can fuck whoever and get away with it, then so should they." Right now that seems to be a little bit of a naiive point of view. And im sure the females on this board would contest that (maybe even some males).

It's naive because there's a logic behind the labelling. all you really gotta do is just take a small peek at the animal kingdom, and that is enough for you to see the light. What is the common thread between animal species and the area of mating? In most cases and environments, it is the male that must make the effort to attract a mate. It is the male that must flare his feathers, fight off opponents, have the loudest roar or croak, have the longest mane, who can beat their chest harder - all for the purpose of finding and attracting a mate. And what does the female do in all this? The female sits back, relaxes, and enjoys the show. She does nothing. She doesn't need to do anything.

Now let's get back to the human species context. In most cultures, males - like in the animal kingdom - must do something to attract the female. What separates us is our motives, and the process. Motives in the sense that we also have sex for pleasure, not just to make kiddies. And process..well.. let's just say i DO have a great head of hair but i dont beat the shit out of my chest and roar to make women wet.

In the human context males must rely on a number of things: perhaps humour, charisma, an aura of mystery, gift of the tongue.... Whatever it is, these things must be used in order to attract a woman. Unfortunately, we are unable to have a female appear by simply snapping our fingers. Im quite lazy, and this would save me a lot of time to focus on other extra curricular activities, but it's not reality. I, and other males, gotta work for that shit. Some have to work for it more than others, but in the end, they still HAVE TO work for it.

So what happens? Guy meets girl, and he must begin to tune her before he can get in her pants. He's gotta talk to her, and make her attracted to him. He needs to make this girl desire him enough to let him nibble her panties off. Ultimately, if a guy is good enough, he can do this with a different female each week. He is a prime male. He is an alpha male. Others who don't have what it takes are limited to various forms of pornography and hand lubricants. Their process just didn't cut it, and so they don't attract any females.

And that's where the difference lies. Logically, because the male is placed in a position where he MUST work, MUST place effort, MUST invest time to get into a girls pants - it is not considered that bad if he ends up sleeping with a different girl each week. He is a champion among men because we all know how difficult it is, and we all know how much effort it takes to attract that number of females so they would sleep with us.

But from a females perspective, you don't do anything. It is the MALE who does the "chase", i.e. makes the effort. The female, just like in a lot of situations within the animal kingdom, sits back, relaxes, and lavishes in the attention. She doesn't need to do shit. Females do not... i repeat do not need to make ANY effort with males. Realistically, all you need is a decent face, nice ass, and a monstrous head polishing ability. If you have such qualities, then you can get any male without so much as saying one word to him.

And that's where the core difference lies. For males it's relatively more difficult to get to the point where you can mate than it is for a female to get to that point. So therefore, it is so much more easier for a female to get laid. Thus, they get the label because without effort, time, or chasing to get laid - it essentially becomes a "throw away" thing for them:

- Males always chase the girl
- Male tunes the girl, makes effort to attract her
- Eventually girl may or may not be attracted to him

- Females do not need to make effort to get laid
- Females do not require charisma, interesting personality etc to attract a male
- Females can get away with having the conversational ability of a red brick, and still find themselves in a spit roast with Rocco and Mario.
- Thus no effort needs to be made, as mentioned above

So when females go searching for it - they will eventually find it, as they really don't have to do much. And because they dont have to do anything for it, it becomes easier and therefore justifiable to label them as sluts.

I wholeheartedly agree.

That said, I have one point of discussion. Animals are lead by instincts combined with memories, and presumably nothing more. Humans have the gift of foresight in that we can predict outcomes of situations, and make better decisions regardless of our instincts. Instincts tell you to eat, your mind tell you starved African children need food so you have to eat less. Had you been an animal, you wouldn't even think about the African children, the instinct of hunger would override your brain. Proven when animals that *normally* don't attack humans do so anyway because of starvation. They aren't "thinking clear".

Now with that said, I do feel like it's a responsibility for every man to look beyond his primal instincts. Even with the argument you put up above, and my feeling that it is more befitting to call a girl a slut when she's sleeping around, I still don't think it makes it okay for a guy to sleep around, or that it makes it okay for guys to call girls sluts. I don't think of it as an excuse but an explanation.

However, when you talk about the animal kingdom (and I see why that makes sense) it's easy to be misguided. Just because certain birds, fishies, and other animals of similar size and intelligence have a colorful appearance and do all kinds of tricks to attract a female, this is a simplification of the human mate attraction process. Making that comparison without a conclusion ('nuff said) paints a distorted picture of what we really work like. We do not share primal instincts with animals of other species, or at best only the core instincts like survival, nutrition, reproduction. The complexity of our instincts far surpasses most other animals though. You can only really compare us to chimps and bonobos to get a good idea of how we would behave without all the social constructs we're victims to. Now in both those two species, sex is a very important part of all interaction. In a flock, all members perform sexual activities, with members of the same sex or members of the other sex. males will stand butt to butt and rub their balls against eachother, females will eat eachother out. Monkeys are among the only animals to fuck face to face too. They use sex as a means to make up after a fight, to reunite, for fun, for pleasure, and for reproduction. Males and females, they're like the hippies. Imo that puts a whole twist on what you said above. Although I feel what you said still gives a good idea of the kind of logic most guys try to apply to the argument we're having.

The question becomes, should we follow instincts or social constructs. If we all stop following what we've believed was good for a few hundred years now, and acted upon instinct alone, we essentially become animals. We force ourselves to leave our more animalistic and "selfish" ways, we sacrifice that freedom, for things that we could never have if we were to be that free. The two can't walk hand in hand. Now some people will be the typical workaholic, always doing a good job, believing in society and the justice system, etc etc etc but at the same time they'll sleep around. To me this is an illogical mixture of listening to the things you think benefit you, but not giving a damn when things don't go your way. It's like saying you're a muslim but you never pray and don't celebrate their holidays. What the fuck kind of muslim are you then? Soon as being a muslim is inconvenient, you've made up your own special way of explaining it ("i'm a muslim, i just don't practice those traditions") and you think it's okay. So if a guy wants to sleep around, I feel that he should know that by doing so and by neglecting social constructs like that sleeping around is bad and can hurt people, you are saying "no, thank you" to the benefits that come with living in a world where doing that is not expected. You'll never have the right to be pissed with someone for sleeping around on you. Most guys still would if they, despite being loose, found a girl that they settled with a little. So it's like, we all know social constructs aren't natural when talking about human nature and instincts and everything, but that also was never the point. We have them to keep a strain on our animalistic nature.
