Although Game‘s The R.E.D Album has been pushed back til August 23rd, which quote on quote from Mr. Taylor “It’s like a fat chick, it won’t move” reminding us that it won’t be pushed back any further. Jayceon announced some collaboration names on the album.
I think the people will appreciate the collaborations. Dr. Dre is actually rapping on this album. This is the first album that I’ve ever dropped where I have Dr. Dre’s voice actually on the album. Features range from Snoop Dogg to Pharrell to Wiz to Trey Songz to Chris Brown, and Drake’s on the album. I got a good cast of all-stars. Oh yeah, Tyler [The Creator] is on the album. I forgot about him.
He ain’t really doing features for nobody. He feels like fuck everything and I don’t blame him either. It’s a California thing, and I got respect for him and his hustle and what they’re doing and just being kids and being rebels for the cause,” Game said of recently befriending the Odd Future frontman. And he respects me for doing what I did for California and the West Coast, I guess. I met him at a Diddy concert and we chopped it up and we got a song called ‘Martians vs Goblins.’ It’s dope.

It’s not a new Tupac verse, but don’t act like you won’t listen, Pimp and Pac on the same track!

UStream is like the new press conference or something. Artists don’t even need wait for interviews to talk anymore. Trey Songz and Nicki Minaj took to Ustream to talk on their collaboration.
This new video from Fat Joe and Trey Songz just debuted at number 1 on BET. Hmmm… Is Fat Joe still relevant? I smell a poll coming on…

T.I. has pushed his highly anticipated King Uncaged album back to September 28th. It was revealed on Amazon that it was being held back. No reason has been given.
The proclaimed King of the South told Rolling Stone magazine that the album can be compared to 2Pac‘s return-from-prison release, All Eyez On Me, and that he would retain from gun talk on the album. That’s a pretty ballsy statement comparing his soon-to-be latest release to a Pac album.
Planned collaborations for the album include Kid Rock, The Dream, Trey Songz, Lady Gaga and Eminem.

Jay-Z, Young Jeezy and Trey Songs (or the Mob Squad as they call themselves) sat down in studio with Angie Martinez for this interview.

I can’t remember the last time someone’s label signing was so discussed or anticipated. There were rumors floating around that Drake would sign to Lil Wayne‘s Young Money way back when he was doing mixtapes with Weezy, but both camps denied it. Looking back on it it was probably a way to keep the speculation and hype going.
But today it was officially announced that Drake had signed the deal with Young Money/Cash Money and that his project would also be distributed by Universal.
Check out a video announcement after the jump with the likes of Bun B, Green Lantern, Talib Kweli, Irv Gotti and Trey Songz talking about Drake.
Jermaine Dupri has teamed up with Nelly, Usher, Bryan Michael Cox, Trey Songz, Johnta Austin, and Tyrone Davis to form a group called Ocean’s 7, inspired by the Ocean’s 11 films. Apparently the concept was created while JD and Bryan Michael Cox were in Las Vegas working in the studio with Usher.
Check out their video for “Vegas Baby.” It looks like the guys are just having some fun working together.
