No doubt yo. 50 Cent definitely held it down for the ThisIs50 Music Festival for an interview with MTV on October 3rd from Governors Island in NYC. Cameo’s from Cory Gunz, Trav, Maino, Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, Styles P, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and a whole lot of cats. It was good seein’ 50 and the G-Unit crew givin’ daps to D-Block after they squashed their beef.

Not sure what the point of this was, but Tony Yayo and Cormega walked down some street in Queens Bridge, threw a little shot at Nas, filmed it, and put it on Youtube.

The Game reflects on his departure from G-Unit, apologizes to 50 Cent and the crew, and says everyone would have made more money together if he had stayed.

Now, four albums in, I can say as a man that G-Unit, Game, Aftermath, Black Wall Street, Interscope, Geffen, Eminem, Shady, from [Lloyd] Banks to [Young] Buck to [Tony] Yayo to Dre to whoever; If it woulda kept going: endless paper. Millions of albums sold. Because we were great together.

Me and Fif’s chemistry is what Method Man was to Redman when they get in. Red ain’t from Wu-Tang but you know when Meth gets wit’ Redman it’s goin’ down… [Me and 50’s] biggest records were together. Whether I was on them or I wasn’t on them. Whether he was on them or he wasn’t on them. When we were in gellin’ writing together as a family, we had it man. If we never would have [broken] up, I think Detox would have been out and we all would have been selling millions from Banks to Buck, and Tony Yayo. I’m going to apologize for my role.

50cent

50 Cent has told MTV that he will be releasing a project called War Angel LP next Tuesday at 9PM on ThisIs50.com.

He says the mixtape is more like an album, and he’s treating it as such and his “core audience” will understand it. No word though on if that means it will have all new production, or mixtape beats.

After that he says he will drop Sincerely Yours 2 and an as yet untitled G-Unit mixtape, all as a lead up to his September release of Before I Self Destruct.

Continue reading after the jump for a full tracklist for War Angel LP as well as streaming audio of Fif’ talking about the project, and

Here’s a teaser for a documentary detailing the day in the life of Tony Yayo. Yeah, coz I’m sure he goes back to the hood every single day.

Wow, two G-Unit posts in a row (Lloyd Banks – Practice here), I don’t think this has happened since the Unit’s golden mixtape era.

Tony Yayo just dropped a new mixtape that I’ll get around to posting eventually called Swine Flu, and below is a video for one of the songs called “They Hate.” The whole concept surrounds Yayo getting hated on by fans on the net.

I think it is pretty obvious to anyone that Yayo is the least talented of the group, and that he probably wouldn’t have been a rapper if it wasn’t for 50 Cent, but the truth is, the guy has stayed loyal, has heart, and obviously loves rapping. I mean why else drop songs, mixtapes and albums, if most are met by hate? The guy doesn’t need the money and just seems to like doing what he’s doing. He coulda just stayed in the background and made money with 50 and the group albums and been set for life.

Anyway, here’s the video.
