Posts about The Game

Well looky looky, Game back with Dr. Dre? Now he doesn’t have to pretend…. Oh wait… But then he shouts out Cool & Dre too… So hmmm… Who produced the song? I know! We’ll see what Game says on his twitter page, nothing like getting the info straight from the man to clear things up… But wait… Seems that he is confused too? Check this out, and then this. So who knows? But this is the single from his R.E.D. album, produced by either Dr. Dre or Cool & Dre.

We haven’t really reported on this even though it has been brewing for the past week or so, well, because, it’s Diddy. But Sean Combs has signed to Interscope as a recording artist (I hesitate to call him a rapper) and is apparently bringing his Bad Boy imprint along for the ride, although details on what will happen with current Bad Boy artist deals is a little sketchy at the moment.
He’s officially announced it on his Youtube “Diddy TV” channel with a totally staged for the camera “board meeting” with Jimmy Iovine. The Game makes a little cameo too, although it looks like he totally shrugs Diddy off.

Here’s a leak from Strong Arm Steady’s upcoming album Arms & Hammers produced by Mars from 1500 or Nothin’ who are doing most of The Game’s upcoming album so it’s no wonder he features on this too.

Although The Game seems to be constantly dissing him, Jay-Z has yet to respond. In a new interview, he explained why he hasn’t fired back at people like Game and Jim Jones, saying he doesn’t consider them real competition. Besides explaining why Game and Jimmy aren’t competitive, Jigga explains that artists like Nas and Eminem are his only real competition.
“Not really that competitive, because the competition isn’t based on real competition,” Jay says in the October issue of XXL Magazine. “I mean, Game, I’m his fuckin’ idol. If you ask him and he’s being truthfully honest with you it’s just based off his insecurities and, for the most part, pretension. That type of competition doesn’t do anything for me. It’s almost like someone trying to set you up, and everyone knows they’re to set you up, and everybody. It’s just dumb. It’s not in the spirit of competition, because he’s not competition for me. He’s not. Not then, not ever — he’d have to improve considerably. Competition for me competition is Nas, Eminem. Like Jim Jones?
That’s ridiculous to me. So how do I respond to that? I can’t win. If I win, then they’ll be like, ‘See. Now chill. You’re a fuckin’ bully.’ And if it manages to throw a haymaker from the West Coast, then it’s like ‘Oooooh.’ It’s not even fun. Like, before I did it, because I would diss anybody. Now who has time to do this shit everyday? But before, when I was running after the little fat nigga from Ma$e’s camp, I was doing anybody.
Anybody said anything. If I thought you said something. When I was running in the streets, I wanted all that type of activity. Nobody wanted nothing. Now everybody’s a tough guy.”

DJ turned producer turned rapper Nu Jerzey Devil enlists The Game’s help for this track off of his debut album Mr. Red Karpet out now on iTunes.
Jay-Z wasn’t allowing video cameras in the studio for this one so you’ll have to make do with a photo slideshow. He says some pretty interesting stuff too. Yes, The Game is mentioned and the possibility of a “Takeover 2″, and Jigga talks about Blueprint 3.
