Posts about T-Pain

fabolousApparently the rumor mills were working overtime this weekend regarding the rapper Fabolous.

Reported rumors began circulating the internet that Fabolous had been in a car accident on September 27th. It turns out the rumors were false, but something had happened to him while he was in Atlanta.

According to Fab’s Twitter page, he had been rushed to the hospital by ambulance after feeling ill while driving and nearly passing out. He pulled off to the side of the road and called for an ambulance. Which is where the car accident rumor could have come from.

I’m ok everyone..thanks 4 the concern. I was not in a car accident, but I think i know where it started.. Let me explain, I was drivin yesterday morning & started feeling very sick & felt like I was gon pass out while driving.. I veered off 2 da side of the road.

I believed I was poisoned so I checked in & was given medical treatment..a lil sedated so I didn’t tweet but was released 2 go late last nite,

continued Fab in his Tweets.

He was released after being medically treated. He showed concerns for his fans by saying, “Again thanks 4 ur concern & prayers.. I’m ok, No car accident, jus a lil sick.. Imma shake it off and GO IN on somebody later LOL!.”

He believes the recent poisoning could have slated from his latest beef with Bow Wow.

Loso has also been beefing with T-Pain recently. He’s currently working on a supergroup featuring Ne-Yo and Ryan Leslie.

T-Pain fired the first shot… Well… Actually I guess Jay-Z did with “Death Of Autotune,” but anyway, T-Pain said this, and now Jay-Z says this:

When you hear people’s gripe against me, it’s always about what I didn’t do for them. They never say what I did TO them, it’s always what I didn’t do FOR them.

jayzAccording to Tweets made by rapper Fabolous over the weekend, singer T-Pain had a few choice words for Jay-Z while deejaying at Rehab nightclub in Las Vegas.

While doing his set at Rehab, T-Pain proceeded to tell the crowd “fuck Jay-Z.”

“Yo I’m at Rehab in Vegas.. T-Pain is DJ’ing.. Sayin Fuck Jay Z, he old, blah blah.. guess its backlash from D.O.A..,” said Fabolous via Twitter.

T-Pain’s “fuck Jay-Z” comments are a stark contrast to his initial response to Jay Z’s Death of Auto Tune (D.O.A.)” “That affected me in a great way, man. I made sure I honored him as a great song writer, that’s like the best song I heard in a couple years, man,” T-Pain told MTV regarding “D.O.A.” “And it’s great that somebody that important stepped up and vouched for me.”

The DJ who followed T-Pain was apparently unphased by T-Pain’s comments, he immediately started his set with “D.O.A.” followed by a number of other Jay-Z hits.

“Yo the DJ is doin’ a Jay-Z set.. D.O.A., Kingdom Come, “Run This Town”, “Heart of the City”, “H to the Izzo”, “Amillie Free”. T-Pain somewhere in here,” said Fabolous in a Tweet.

T-Pain has yet to comment publicly on his remarks made that night.

T-Pain proves again that he has a career to fall back on if someone really kills Autotune.

Many were surprised to find out that T-Pain could actually sing unassisted by Autotune, and now here’s footage of one of his other talents, DJing. The track he is cutting is Asher Roth’s “I Love College,” and that’s him sitting on the floor.

This thing is still amazing. Photos did it more justice though [click here].

And to all the haters saying this is stupid or T-Pain is a fool, sure, but it is his money, I’m sure he’s invested, and this itself can be melted down and sold in the future as it’s value goes up in price. So really, it isn’t a bad investment. As long as it doesn’t get stolen.

tpain-jayz

If you watched the “Jay-Z at Summer Jam” video we posted [watch here], you saw T-Pain up on stage with Jigga as he performed “Death Of Autotune” live on stage.

What happened was, Jay-Z was a surprise performer at the show, and as if to defy that AutoTune or his style was getting murdered, T-Pain ran up on stage and stood next to the rapper, kind of awkwardly.

It turns out that this was totally unplanned and Hov had no idea T-Pain was going to do it.

“This is crazy, ’cause I didn’t know where T-Pain came from,” Jay revealed to Angie Martinez. “I look and I see somebody to my right and I swear I thought it was a fan and he was coming to hug me. I’m not even lying, not trying to be funny or take shots. I thought this person ’cause I didn’t see who it was ’cause he was coming to hug me and I thought all right, that’s some cool rock star stuff and then I seen people move again and I look back again and think ‘Is that…’ I guess he wanted to get close like ‘Not me.’ But it’s really not him. It was a little awkward and it was cool. I don’t mind sharing a little bit… He didn’t mean any harm, he was just embracing the record… I’m not saying AutoTune is wack… I’m not saying that, I just put a soundtrack to it, I put a voice to it. If people wasn’t feeling this way then the record wouldn’t work the way it would… The culture is bigger than the politics.”

After finishing the song, Jay marched off stage exclaiming a final “good riddance!”

And yet T-Pain, who repopularized the use of AutoTune in the first place, doesn’t seem to get it and had this to say after the show:

“That affected me in a great way, man. I made sure I honored him as a great song writer…that’s like the best song I heard in a couple years, man. And it’s great that somebody that important stepped up and vouched for me.”

Vouched for you? The damn song is called “Death Of Autotune!”

bigasschain-streethopcom

T-Pain posted these up on his Twitter, backstage at Summer Jam. Damn that is one BIG ASS CHAIN!

Here is what he had to say about it, defending his spending in today’s economic climate:

“10lbs. 197kts. Very very real I don’t know what fake feel like. $410,000. Hola señor recession proof. With 32 cars. Oldest child 5 and already got 4 million in her own account. I dont do dumb shit like this till I know the fams good. So don’t judge me for what I buy. Judge me for what I do. Cuz it’s so many artists that put themself before their family. but thanx yo.”

Check out a close up of it after the jump…

The pimped out golf buggy is classic!
