I guess now that Shyne sounds nothing like Biggie anymore it’s alright to use Notorious B.I.G. vocal samples. This would be a really good song if it wasn’t for the really forced and irrelevant 50 Cent and Rick Ross disses thrown in there, complete with a Jay-Z “what the fuck is 50 cents” vocal sample, on the end of EVERY verse, and the fact that Shyne now, unfortunately, really, really, really sucks.
Even with the questionable efforts he’s been putting out since being released, Shyne co-overs XXL’s 13th Anniversary September issue. The other version is covered by Young Jeezy. Both covers are after the jump, and below is behind the scenes footage of Shyne’s photoshoot in Belize.
According to Island Def Jam, this is Shyne‘s new street single. It’s called “Roller Song”. You be the judge. Personally, Po isn’t the same and will never be the same. Get at us and fire your thoughts.

Seeing as how I’m on this kick about Shyne lately; I had to post this second part of a Game interview. He speaks on missing the opportunity to work with Nicki Minaj on his new album, Ashanti, Shyne and crashing Dr. Dre‘s crib to shoot a video. For any dude in the rap scene today, homeboy keeps it real. He also shouts out to J. Cole and Jay Electronica.
All the controversy over Shynes recent rampage of releasing freestyles and then the diss to 50 Cent and G-Unit results in this “Slow Down Son (Remix)” by Fat Joe featuring Shyne and Jeezy. Po needs to make his fuckin’ mind up if he’s going to try and sound like Rick Ross and Lloyd Banks had a kid together or start rapping like he did when that street sweeper “Bad Boys” came out.
So now that Shyne has dropped a single, a couple freestyles, and a diss aimed at 50 Cent, what do you guys think? Is Shyne back? Is the flow working?
