Shyne

I don’t know whether to laugh or agree with Game on this. Anyway, Jayceon goes on Big Boi’s radio show and furthers the beef between him and Shyne. The “low key butt pirate” line was good though.

So it looks like Shyne is the new victim for Game.

After putting things aside earlier this year, Shyne and Diddy reunited during the Kenzo show in Paris earlier today. Po, you look sophisticated. Not the way I wanna see you homeboy.

Although not being confirmed as the final product for Lil Wayne‘s Carter IV album, a thread post over at LWHQ seems legit. Track list after the jump.

So here is the first official video clip from Shyne. Beat is dope, video is big budget, I just wish he remembered how to rap and actually write flows that rhymed.

If you don’t know who Huddy is, chances are your favorite rapper knew him. He was a staple in the New York Hip-Hop scene, from his days with Nas and Big L to the Diplomats and the current Dipset reunion, Huddy was in the middle of it all. He passed away last night in a car accident after leaving Club Perfection after a night partying with Cam’ron.

REST IN PEACE HUDDY.

Check out this article from MTV that says it better than I can, and then head over to MissInfo for some personal memories and dedication.

You know how the saying goes, the good die young. And today the hip-hop community, specifically New York City, mourns the loss of one of it’s soldiers in the battlefield.

Early yesterday morning (October 13th) Harlem World’s very own Andre Hudson, aka, Huddy Combs, aka Huddy 6 was returning from his beloved city en route to New Jersey when his vehicle struck a tractor trailer killing him. Hudson was accompanied by a female passenger who was taken to a local Jersey medical hospital where her condition remains unknown.

Huddy’s name rang bells throughout hip-hop circles for years thanks to his close association with childhood friends Cam’ron and Mase. Huddy got his biggest shout out on the hook to Cam and Mase’s “Horse & Carriage” but Huddy’s bigger claim to fame aside from his stint in the Harlem World group that spawned a full-length album was being credited for saving Cam’ron’s life back in 2005. Huddy was sitting in the passenger seat of Cam’s Lamborghini when an unknown man walked up to the vehicle and fired two shots hitting Cam in his arm. According to Cam, it was Huddy who quickly directed him to a nearby hospital.

Following news of his death, family, friends and fans remembered the man who they said embodied Harlem “R.I.P. HUDDY 6,” Juelz Santana wrote. “SMFH if u don’t or didn’t know who he was jus know this, he was HARLEM!!!!” “Huddy Combs…@hud6 ..God Bless! Harlem lost a good 1” Diddy tweeted. Hot 97 disc jockey Funkmaster Flex dedicated his entire radio slot to Huddy playing hours worth of Diplomats music. Diplomats members Freekey Zeekey and Duke Da God also shared their sentiments over the loss of their friend “Huddy Combs R.I.P my dear brother. Love you forever bro. @hud6” Duke tweeted. “Life is short so come2 amends w/family& Friends who ur n conflict with..U may never get a chance2 rekindle the Love&partnership RIP HUDDY6″ said Zeke via Twitter.

Rest in peace Huddy Combs … one of NYC’s forever shining stars.

UPDATE: Here are some videos from the memorial held for Huddy.

Shyne goes on the record with LIFE Flies and discusses the new rap sound he so whackly spits, Kanye West and reality rap.

Lloyd Banks was asked to list the three wackest songs out right now. Shyne and Game make up his list. I really think Banks is in his prime when he’s battling dudes so I’d welcome any competition anyone throws his way — and something tells me Shyne will get it first.

Shyne tells MTV that he might be releasing a second album on Cash Money Records on the same day as his Def Jam album in December.

Two albums on the same day? But if both have that wack flow who really cares? Hey Shyne; concentrate on dropping ONE dope album first — don’t get ahead of yourself.

Shyne jumped on uStream (I wonder how he’s doing catching up to all this technology) for a phone conference where people could ask questions… And well… 50 Cent rang in to ask about 50 Cent. Here is Shyne’s video, and then after that, the much funnier 50 Cent version.
