Posts about Rick Ross

See, beef is good for everybody, even those not involved. Pitbull gets some publicity by talking about 50 Cent’s beef with Rick Ross and Rick’s ex.

50 Cent really knows how to fuck with someone when he doesn’t like them. Get this, in the video below, he takes Rick Ross’s baby mother and Ross’s SON to Floyd Mayweather’s house (who also has beef with Ross).

New video from Rick Ross, have we forgiven him for being a C.O. (and lying about it) yet?

MTV has released their full Top 10 Hottest MCs list after running a long standing poll. The thing is though the fan poll apparently didn’t count for diddly squat because the final top 10 don’t reflect the fan choices.

I mean at one point, Joe Budden was leading the pack and although I stopped checking Im sure he ended up in the top 10 somewhere, if not the top 5. Not to mention the fact that Eminem isn’t in there at all and he won the fan poll, and as disappointing as Relapse was to me personally, I’m still pretty sure that he is a better MC than Kanye West or Gucci Mane, who landed at the 4 and 6 spots. Or Rick Ross for that matter.

And how in the hell is Drake Top 3? He doesn’t even have an album out yet. I’m not knocking the guy’s talent and have high hopes for his music and inclusion on such lists, in the future, but how can anyone be the 3rd hottest MC in the game without having proven themselves on any real level? What albums has he dropped? What battles has he overcome, lyrically or otherwise?

And finally, Jay-Z took out the number 1 spot. Ok, I can see how he had the momentum going this year with The Blueprint 3, but the album itself was a disappointment and no where near his best work. Yes I said it, and let me further the controversy by saying that I’m not a 100% sure Jigga at any point in his career deserved the top crown when matched against his peers in that era, let alone now. But I guess that just goes to show the sad state of Hip-Hop this year.

No scratch that, we’ve had some great albums and music this year. I guess what this really goes to show is the sad state of MTV.

Here is the full list:

This shit just gets funnier every time I hear something new on Rick Ross. Apparently back in June, Officer Ricky was robbed by three or four women out of his hotel room at the Hilton. The Miami Boss had just performed at the Municipal Auditorium in Tennessee. Jewelry and other personal belongings were stolen. I also heard one of the women seduced Mr. Ross.

My only note is this; he was robbed by groupies… WOMEN. Haha.

Here’s the video footage of the hotel cameras catching the women. Crimestoppers is offering a large cash reward to anyone with information.

Triple C’s, or better known as the Carol City Cartel, is bonded with Rick Ross. The video is entitled “Go (War Remix)”. It’s a diss to Floyd “Money” Mayweather. They go hard and strike off the bat.

This is off the album Custom Cars & Cycles due in stores October 27th. Fire back with your thoughts. Is Officer Ricky and his commanding officers Torch, Gunplay and Young Breed looking for attention again?

Rick Ross hit up Bootleg Kev on the Wild 101 radio station and flips the verse about now not wanting to battle with Eminem. Ricky goes on to state that his latest album, Deeper Than Rap, is the album of the year. He goes on to talk about Triple C’s, Justice League, The Runners, and a possible collaboration album with Birdman.

He also gives up a hint with his forth album, Teflon Don, with a possible collaboration with Rakim. How sick would that be? Teflon Don is due out sometime in 2010.

Rick Ross is still on about that Monkey business with 50 Cent. But due to “black on black racial”, he chose to call Eminem a Honkey. Ross steps back and decides to throw dirt over Eminem, 50 Cent, and DJ Whoo Kid. He basically tells everybody that Whoo Kid is a “nobody”. Peep the video.

I’m tellin’ you Officer Ricky, you creepin’ with the wrong street sweeper, my dude.

rick-ross12When Rick Ross thinks about Eminem making a Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon diss instead of responding to Ross’ jabs toward the 8 Mile Hero, he cannot help but crack up laughing. “He’s smart,” Ross said about Eminem not addressing him and avoiding a rhyme battle. “That’s what I’m waiting for. That’ll be a gift — a great Christmas present for me. But y’all know what I think. I think everybody knows. It’s all ‘hood, man. Shout-out to Mariah Carey, she needs to reach out to me. We could eradicate some things.”

The vibe isn’t one hundred percent heart-felt, however, the Miami-Dade Boss wants to praise Em on his latest lyrical attack. “On a better note, I wanna shout out Eminem. I heard a record he did with Cash Money’s own Lil Wayne and Drake and Kanye West. Eminem, you’re smart. I understand … we all know what you doing now. You’re moving on to better things. Like I said, he might wanna do a record with me. We here. Triple Cs.”

Ross, Carol City Cartel, Masspike Miles and the rest of his musical family are putting out their mixtape entitled Maybach Music Part III: White Sand. Apparently this signifies that they started in the streets and now enjoy the finer things in life.

“We still on that hustle,” Ross said. “I’m hungry like a new artist. It’s a double disc of all new music as well as a DVD. It’s taking the street mixtapes to the next level.” Triple Cs are filming the video for their first single, “Go,” with the Birdman featured in the production. The album Custom Cars and Cycles is due to drop this fall.

I don’t know, Ross. The battle between you and 50 Cent popped off, but ended with Fifty and his goons stalking DJ Khaled’s moms house and even where she slept at.

You might be creepin’ with the wrong street sweeper, son.

Here is some in the studio footage of Rick Ross and Ryan Leslie working on an unreleased song, “Maybachs & Diamonds.”

The track didn’t make the Deeper Than Rap album but will appear on one of the two’s future efforts.
