15 years after the murder of Christopher Wallace, better known as Notorious B.I.G., TMZ obtained a copy of the autopsy diagram above. The report states that only one of 4 shots fatally killed Biggie on March 9th, 1997 in Los Angeles. Entire autopsy results below. The murder continues to be unsolved.

– Gunshot #1 struck Wallace in the left forearm and traveled down to his wrist.

– Gunshot #2 struck Wallace in the back, missed all vital organs, and exited through his left shoulder.

– Gunshot #3 struck Wallace on his outer left thigh and exited through his inner left thigh. The reports says .. after Gunshot #3 exited the thigh, “the projectile strikes the left side of the scrotum, causing a very shallow, 3/8 inch linear laceration.”

The fatal bullet was Gunshot #4 … which entered Wallace’s body through his right hip and ripped its way through several vital organs … before coming to rest in his left shoulder area.

On Wednesday, the funeral services were held for Chris Lighty. Several celebrities are seen coming and going from the obvious hundreds of people gathered outside the funeral home in Manhattan. The famed funeral parlor was shared with the Notorious B.I.G. as well as Aalyiah.

March 9th marked the 15th anniversary of Biggie‘s death and in lieu of that, Lil Kim graced 106 & Park as they discussed her mentor B.I.G., the influence he had, how she was portrayed in the Notorious movie and then Rocsi asks the inevitable question about Nicki Minaj.


15 years ago today, we lost one of the biggest and most influential rappers of all time. On March 9th, 1997, Christopher “NOTORIOUS B.I.G.” Wallace was the victim of a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles. Biggie was at the center of a a beef war between the east coast and west coast hip hop communities at the time. How do you remember Biggie? What is your favorite album, song or collabo?

I remember coming home from school, turning on MTV like I always did and saw Sway announce that B.I.G. was murdered. I was absolutely speechless. R.I.P. Biggie Smalls!
