Mystikal

Uh oh! Mystikal is heading back to jail for a three month bid after violation of probation after he was arrested in February on domestic abuse charges. Damn, kid. The Cash Money rapper was released from prison in 2010 from serving six years for sexual battery and extortion.

Mystikal took to the stage at SXSW to remind fans that it ain’t his fault. If you missed the news earlier, he’s signed to Cash Money now.

It’s the man, right chea. But why are we STILL screaming over beats my dude? After Mystikal signed with Cash Money, he wasted no time getting in the booth with Birdman and Lil Wayne and kept it “Original”. They kept it 100 with the visual as well.

Back to work we go after one hell of a holiday hiatus. Apparently Trae The Truth is back to work with Mystikal, Tech N9ne and Brian Angel with “All That I Know”.

As we reported earlier, after Mystikal signed to YMCMB, his first single “Original” featuring Birdman and Lil Wayne would be released tonight. No offense to YMCMB, but Birdman should just stay on hooks if he’s going to be on the track with other artists besides Weezy.

Apparently I’m a month late on this. Mystikal has signed with Cash Money Records. This is becoming one hell of a team over at YMCMB. Anyway, here’s what Birdman had to say:

It is an honor to get the opportunity to work with Mystikal, as we have a long history together. He is a great artist and his talent, combined with our hard work and strong team, is going to result in some of the best music of his career. We are expecting great work from Mystikal. Slim and I already have him in the studio working on his first album for Cash Money.

Mystikal:

It has been a truly long time since I have felt like a rapper and with this signing, and partnership, Birdman and Slim have given me my life as a rapper back. I am ready to go. I am going to put my red Superman drawers, cape and boots on and go! This is a huge moment for me and I am truly excited to be with Cash Money Records”.

P.S. – Mystikals album is slated sometime early Spring of 2012. His first single “Original” which features Lil Wayne and Birdman will premiere tonight.

This must be the week of cyphers. Mannie Fresh invites us into his studio for a cypher featuring Mystikal, Juvenile, Skip and The Show. Wooooooof!

Apparently we missed this joint let alone the video. Lloyd hooks up with Mystikal for the video “Set Me Free”. This appears to be the first track from the ex No Limit soldier since being released from prison. At least he kept his voice unlike Shyne. Fire back with your thoughts.

*Note: I have to speak on this matter because I feel the need to back up Caesar on this entire Mystikal matter. As the most famous Hip Hop dedicated website on the Internet, we keep you closely updated with the latest in News in the game presently. We have the right to post opinions on certain matters and you as fans or readers do have the option to not read anything we say and post. Caesar made a general statement on welcoming home Mystikal after being locked up for six years on the charges he received. Caesar made it very clear that he does not condone any of the acts that were previously stated regarding why Mystikal was locked up.

It’s okay to welcome home T.I. when he was released but not okay to welcome home Mystikal regardless of why he was incarcerated? Caesar made no disregard to the allegations against Mystikal nor did he praise it. If you do not want to read our opinions or posts, you don’t have to. As far as bashing Caesar, it’s childish and completely out of context. If you don’t like what I’ve posted, don’t read it. It’s as simple as that. Let’s not have flashbacks of third grade on who said what and who didn’t say what.
