Diddy had one of his famous white parties at which paparazzi recorded Chris Brown dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. Kind of boring, but what’s with the red patch on the back of Chris’s head?

Here is a video of Michael Jackson talking to fans in England about the evils of Sony last year.

Michael seemed so excited and happy and mentally sharp, and not at all pain killered up like the media is portraying him now.

Michael says that not only did Sony try to destroy his album, but that he was leaving the label while owning half of all of their publishing, and publishing is where the money is. He then talks about Tony Mottola being “the devil” and about Mariah Carey.

Interesting stuff, and rare to see Michael Jackson so fired up.

With the tragic news of his passing, Michael Jackson’s fans are rushing to buy his music and possibly reconnect with something they haven’t listened to in a few years.

According to reports, the demand is so great it is leaving retailers out of stock and rushing to fill backorders.

Best Buy has confirmed that most of it’s stores, if not all by now, have totally sold out of Jackson’s albums, and Amazon.com was completely out of stock of Jackson and Jackson 5 albums.

As a result Michael Jackson has filled every slot of the Top 10 Best Selling albums on Amazon.com, and I’d expect a huge impact on next week’s Billboard charts too.

Bill Carr, vice president of music and video at Amazon says, “This is simply unprecedented.”

“We’ve seen the death of Johnny Cash and Frank Sinatra and many other artists, but none of them compare to what we’re witnessing today,” Carr added.

“In the last 24 hours, we’ve actually sold more Michael Jackson albums in our MP3 and CD stores than we have in the 11 years since the launch of our music business,” Carr said.

With such a rush, fans can expect posthumous albums to be released soon to take advantage of the momentum, and to exploit pay tribute to Michael Jackson’s legacy.

mj-ripThe world’s most famous man and the greatest entertainer in history, Michael Jackson, has passed away today after suffering a massive heart attack.

I am an 80’s baby and like most of you out there I grew up listening to Bad and Dangerous and then the back catalog like Thriller and Off The Wall. Before Hip-Hop became my passion, it seems like Jackson was the only musician I listened to, certainly my favorite, and even throughout my teens and now I still enjoyed his music and considered myself a fan.

Michael was 50, and rehearsing for 50 shows in the UK, perhaps even a world tour. He was working on a new album, a new body of music, and seemed to be climbing back to the top again. I was looking forward to the rumored upcoming world tour because I wanted to see him Moonwalk one last time; now he is Moonwalking in heaven.

Our deepest condolences go out to his parents, siblings, children, and friends.

REST IN PEACE.
