50 Cent was out promoting his new Power fragrance and then dropped by the movie premier for his Before I Self Destruct film, which is packaged with the CD.

Juelz Santana and his Skull Gang make a cameo, and this is the first video I’ve seen of Lloyd Banks with his cousin from the Skull Gang, John Depp.

Apparently not happy with being left out of Summer Jam, 50 Cent has teamed up with Hot 97 for a ThisIs50 Festival at the Governor’s Island on October 3rd.

Acts include 50 Cent, G-Unit, Uncle Murda, Papoose, Hell Rell, J.R. Writer, Ron Browz, Corey Gunz, Maino, Trav, DJ Rob E Rob, Kid Cudi, Wale, Dipset and more.

That’s a nice line up.

Jim Jones sued by Hell Rell

The beef between former Dipset members Hell Rell and Jim Jones has landed in court in a new lawsuit against Jim Jones and a number of record labels.

Hell Rell, born Durell Mohammed, was a member of Cam’ron’s Diplomats crew, which at one point featured Cam, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Hell Rell, Max B, JR Writer and 40 Cal.

The lawsuit, which was filed in New York County Court, claims that Jim Jones, Koch, Tycoon Entertainment, Babygrande Records and E1 cheated him out of royalties.

Hell Rell signed with Koch/E1 in 2007 and released one album for the label, Hell Up in Harlem.

That album was followed with 2008’s Black Mask, Black Gloves which was released via the mom & pop label, Babygrande Records.

Hell Rell recently expressed his grievances with his former group members, claiming that Jim Jones and Juelz Santana ruined The Diplomats.

Santana has defended himself and Jones against any wrong doing, claiming Hell Rell needed a Diplomat reunion for financial reasons.

Hell Rell recently inked a deal with Money Maker Entertainment/EMI to release his third official album, Live From Hell.

Live From Hell is due in stores October 6.

Juelz Santana arrested after allegedly threatening his baby mama

Juelz Santana was cuffed and arrested at 10.30AM today after a woman called 911 saying he had threatened her. According to TMZ the women is the mother of his child, although they originally wrongly reported that it was his wife (Juelz isn’t married) so that could be wrong too. Santana was arrested at his Teaneck home and his bail was set at $300.

A rep for Santana says, “He has problems with the people in his complex, they hate on him because he is a rapper with big cars.”

Well, there goes any chance of a Dipset reunion. Cam’ron was performing at BB Kings and during “Oh Boy” instead of rapping “listen to my homeboy Santana” he switched it up to “me, myself, and no Santana!”

UPDATE: Focus Media has instructed us to take this down, well, by instructed I mean they contacted our host and tried to have us shut down. Please keep in mind we actually didn’t host this file, we embedded it from BooBooTV, the site owned by 50 Cent. Now, embedding a file is not illegal, nor are we responsible for it. If we were, every time someone embedded a YouTube video they would be responsible for it, but no, it doesn’t work that way. So in short, instead of asking BooBooTV to take the file down, a site with a corporate backing and money behind it, they decided to attack us, a 100% independent non profit website; the easier target.

Dipset reunion at Summer Jam?

There’s a rumor floating around that Cam’ron and Jim Jones have settled their differences and will come out on stage along with Juelz Santana at this Sunday’s Hot 97 Summer Jam.

Could a full blown reunion be in the works? And more importantly, does the Hip-Hop world still care?
