This was kind of unexpected but to be expected at the same time, I guess. Last night during the Powerhouse show in Philadelphia, with Jay-Z headlining, Beanie Sigel came out at the end of the D-Block set and apparently fired some shots at Jigga.
He performed “Mack Bitch,” his verse from Raekwon’s “Have Mercy” and “Feel It In The Air” before spitting his own version of Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 intro, a cappella. Beans apparently took offense to Jay’s original when he spits “Grown men, they want me to sit them on my lap. But I ain’t got no beard and Santa Claus ain’t black” and he spit “I’m comin down my chimney with a Mac and go blat! That’s what I’m talkin about!”
He then followed that with some “I run this town!”s.
Hopefully someone has some clearer footage that shows Beanie’s freestyle…
Here’s the film clip for Queen Latifah’s “Fast Car,” the lead single from the album I didnt even know she released that’s in stores now called Persona.
The song features Missy Elliott and the clip has cameo’s from Common, Jadakiss, Angie Martinez, Paula Patton, Robin Thicke, and Cool & Dre who produced the track.
No doubt yo. 50 Cent definitely held it down for the ThisIs50 Music Festival for an interview with MTV on October 3rd from Governors Island in NYC. Cameo’s from Cory Gunz, Trav, Maino, Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, Styles P, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and a whole lot of cats. It was good seein’ 50 and the G-Unit crew givin’ daps to D-Block after they squashed their beef.

Before you get too excited there are three things you should know about this latest leak from Rakim’s upcoming The Seventh Seal album:
- It is tagged.
- It isn’t finished, Styles P and Busta Rhymes are set to feature on the finished version. Rakim may also redo his verse, which may be good considering;
- This is far from Ra’s best.

Jadakiss walks around Germany. Jada’s video blogs are always a little boring, apart from this one of course.
Finally. This one took a while to come out but here it is. Ruff Ryders, we back!
D-Block member Styles P and the Evil Genius DJ Green Lantern have announced a new album. The album is collectively named after their respective mixtape careers.
The album, which is entitled The Green Ghost Project, will hit stores November 17th. It’s being distributed through Invasion/The Orchard. The album features production from several mixtape deejays-turned-producers including Scram Jones, Statik Selektah and obviously DJ Green Lantern.
DJ Green Lantern’s lasting relationship with D-Block was a costly factor during the Jadakiss and 50 Cent beef. He was originally with Shady Records.
“Styles and I got together and made a monster,” said DJ Green Lantern of the project. Styles added, “Don’t call me ‘The Ghost’ right now, call me ‘The Green Ghost.’ It’s a different display of talent. We got together and brainstormed about it and it came out crazy.”

Def Jam recording artist Jadakiss issued a statement early Wednesday evening regarding the raid of his Yonkers, New York apartment. “What happened on Saturday was an unfortunate situation but one in which I have no involvement in,” Jadakiss told sources in a statement.
Since the release of my recent album “The Last Kiss” I have been on the road touring and promoting my project. I am focused on my performance schedule and career.” According to the report, Gabriel R. Henriquez, 39, had a room in Jada’s leased waterfront apartment in Yonkers, where police found the money and the drugs.
The incident started when police smelled marijuana coming from the car of Alberto Lajara, 25, the other man who was arrested in the case. While police were questioning Henriquez, who was also in the vehicle, he reportedly got nervous and ran from the car. Authorities were able to catch him, and that’s when they learned he was staying with Jada.
They quickly obtained a search warrant and after checking Henriquez’s room found the contraband. Henriquez was charged with three felonies: second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree assault. He was also hit with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, which is a misdemeanor.
I think it’s so dope that there’s a whole tour dedicated to Sneakers. Here is Jadakiss at Sneaker Pimps NY.
