Lloyd Banks released

After being arrested, released on $50,000 bail, and then detained by immigration, Lloyd Banks is now free and returning to the US. Two of the other three guys that were arrested along with Banks for the assault of Chris Hines left Canada yesterday not having any immigration problems, but one Nicklas Sloane is still being detained by immigration for unknown reasons.

So now Banks will probably be banned from entering Canada, Tony Yayo already is, so who is 50 Cent going to use as a hype man when he does shows up north?

Lloyd Banks released from Canadian jail but detained by immigration

Lloyd Banks and three associates arrested for the alleged assault and robbery of a concert promoter in Canada have been released from jail. As we reported earlier [click here], Banks was released on $50,000 bond. However, while two of the men have left the country and returned to the US, Banks and one associate have been detained by Canadian immigration.

Details as to what immigration issues have led to the hold up are unavailable at the time but we’ll keep you updated.

Lloyd Banks to be released on bail

G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks is being transferred to Canada’s Maple Hurst Correctional Complex where he will be held in protective custody until he is released on $50,000 bail.

Banks was arrested for his alleged role in the January 9th assault on booking agent Chris Hines of Chris Hines/Ultimate Entertainment who refused to pay the rapper after he arrived late to his concert and reportedly then only performed half a song.

Lloyd Banks allegedly arrested on assault charges

G-Unit soldier Lloyd Banks was apparently involved in an assault that took place in Ontario, Canada. Banks and four other unidentified men allegedly surrounded and beat Chris Hines of Chris Hines/Ultimate Entertainment who happens to be a Canadian booking agent. Banks was scheduled to perform near Kitchener Ontario Canada on January 8th at Club N.V. and was to do a set of select songs. According to sources Banks and the four horsemen (poor joke I know) left Hines so beaten he was rushed to the hospital.

Hines suffered minor lacerations, a bruised eye and possible head trauma. Banks arrived late to the venue and reportedly came on stage and performed half a track and walked off stage due to the unruly crowd being pissed off. The assault is reportidly due to Hines refusing to pay Banks considering his short performance. Fan accounts of the lack-luster performance are reportedly being removed around the clock on ThisIs50.com.

Why the fuck do these artists perform if they are going to show up half into the scheduled time of the show? Either show up on time or stop the antics of assaulting people because of your defaults. The same thing went down with DMX.

50 Cent says Beanie Sigel is coming to G-Unit

This really doesn’t come as a shock after the latest attacks from Beanie Sigel on Jay-Z. Philadelphia’s own Power 99 radio station conducted an interview yesterday with 50 Cent and Beanie Sigel along side him.

During the interview it was revealed that G-Unit’s newest member would indeed be Beanie Sigel himself. Apparently Beans was in the background chanting the groups call; G-G-G-Unit! The Broadstreet Bully also stated that he won’t stop attacking Jay-Z until he responds with the proper respect.

Sigel stated that Jigga is nothing more than a crumb. During an interview last week, Jay-Z has this and much more to say regarding the Beanie Sigel attacks:

“He has a lot to complain about,” Jay-Z said jokingly. “Not me. Well Beanie Sigel at the time, and you can look it up if you like, just to be honest, was driving two Bentleys, I don’t know how. It’s impossible to drive two cars at one time with his mama in the sticks and selling 800,000 records. I don’t know what more you can do for somebody at that point. What people choose to do when they attain that type of success, you know, at some point you have to look in the mirror and look at yourself.”

“Beanie Sigel had a record deal, a record label, and a clothing line. And never went platinum, ever. I don’t know in the history of rap has anyone done so much with so little.,” Jay-Z added. ” I don’t know what more you can do for a person at that point. But a record deal, that’s normal. A record label and a clothing line, so, if that’s not pushing a person, shit. Thank-you.”

Interestingly he goes on to say that Eminem may not have known he was featured with all those artists on “Forever” and wasn’t happy at the way his vocals were mixed on the final product.

Fat Joe fires back at 50 Cent

I really thought this beef was over between 50 Cent and Fat Joe. Until 50 almost died after listening to Joey Crack’s new album J.O.S.E 2. Say what? I know. Another weak attack on behalf of the G-Unit mastermind.

Apparently 50 was “rushed” to the hospital after listening to Don Catergena’s new album. It was all fake, and again, a weak blow on his part.

Fat Joe has fired back and wrote on his Twitter earlier this morning “Tell 5o to get off my dick already… he was sick that my album is SO HOT that real music not that whack shit him and his clowns are making.”

That’s a nice line up.

Everyone wanted to know if 50 Cent was trying to diss Jay-Z on his new mixtape track “Flight 187.” The G-Unit mastermind recently spoke to MTV and said there’s no beef, just observation.

“It was the glasses,” 50 explained about why he compared Hov to sitcom character Steve Urkel. “They saw the glasses. I didn’t Photoshop glasses on him. I think Jay is really conscious of his actual moves. He does those things to make a statement in different ways to create clarity that he doesn’t have to be the way people want him to be. He can do what he wants. But I wrote the song out of the perspective of me mentioning things I thought were interesting.”

Fif also noted that he mentioned Britney Spears and even members of his own musical family on the song, but everyone gravitated toward the Hov line because Blueprint 3 has a huge buzz.

“I even wrote, ‘Eminem made me a star and Dre is taking a long time to mix my records. I gotta talk to Jimmy Iovine about it.’ I wrote about Britney Spears. I said a lot of interesting things on the record, but they focus on Jay because his album is releasing.”

Lil Wayne, T.I., and 50 Cent to go Behind The Music on VH1

September 10 will mark the long-awaited return of Vh1’s program Behind The Music. The documentary one-hour series spotlights musical artists’ careers, often with personal and revealing interviews about controversial matters. This season’s lineup will include spotlights on three of Rap’s biggest stars: Lil Wayne, 50 Cent and T.I. .

The season will open with the Cash Money Records star on the 10th, airing at 10pm. Vh1 says that Lil Wayne is candid about his childhood and drive for fame.

October 8th’s show will chronicle the career of T.I. The Atlanta-based rapper will reportedly speak about his failed debut/tenure at Arista Records, the death of close friend Philant Johnson and his present jail sentence.

The following week, October 13, will tell the story of 50 Cent. The one hour will look at the rapper’s ascent from the tough Queens streets to building his G-Unit empire.

Behind The Music is one of Vh1’s longest-running programs, first airing in 1997.
