When Eminem signed 50 Cent and they went on the mixtape tirade, man, that was one of my favorite times in Hip-Hop. Really, things were just so exciting and entertaining.
Anyway, here’s a new track from Fif’. Eminem is Eminem, or at least, the new Em, but 50 seems to actually be trying to spit, which is nice.
The Forbes “Hip-Hop Cash King” list for 2012 has been released, and topping out the bank is Dr. Dre, who was also the only Hip-Hop celebrity to make the general “Highest-Paid Celebrities” list where he came it at number 5.

Here’s a new approach. Besides using main stream Hip Hop, I’m going to try giving some local talent a shot at the limelight. Lockdown has a passion for Hip-Hop just as much as Lupe Fiasco or Eminem would possess. He’s done covers from Lupe, Eminem and Akon. The videos I’ve posted are Lupe’s “The Show Goes On” and Shady’s “8 Mile Road”. He still goes in even after the beat drops! You can peep his other tracks here.
