Posts about Eminem
I guess Eminem liked being associated with DJ Hero so much that he decided to do it again with Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Some of you got mad that I thought DJ Hero was a bit lame so let me just say Modern Warfare 2 is going to fucking rock. Rukas bought me the preorder for my birthday. This will be epic.
Here’s a behind the scenes look at this years BET Hip-Hop Ciphers.
According to internet sources today, Eminem is plotting a horror series of movies to pay homage to the likes of Christine, Aliens and The Lost Boys. The title of the series will be called Shady Talez.
Fans read on shocktillyoudrop.com that the Detroit native had plans to develop an anthology of flicks to some of those listed above. According to the website, Em would have multiple roles in the project. XXL Mag spoke to Shady’s publicist Dennis Dennehy and this is what he had to say:
“Nothing is set in stone thus far. There’s been talks,” he said, “but I can’t confirm anything yet.”
We all knew it was coming. Well, I did at least. Another single dropping from 50 Cent’s new album Before I Self Destruct featuring Eminem entitled “Psycho”. I really don’t know what the deal with Shady is by using weird voices lately. Fif seems to be doing the same thing in this song. Fire back and let us know your thoughts.

Eminem proves that he still cant be fucked with, no matter what MTV says.
First it was Method Man, now the Internal Revenue Service is coming after Nas.
The IRS has ironically slammed Nas with a demand for $2.5 million in unpaid taxes. They have requested he pay the massive figure amount for outstanding taxes owed between 2006 and 2007. This is only another troubled time for Nas because his estranged wife Kelis managed to pull $30,471 a month for her and their infant son Knight. If ya’ll missed the Method Man ordeal, [click here] and video of Meth turning himself in also [click here].
What the fuck is the deal with rappers wives these days dropping a splintered ball bat on their nuts? Eminem’s wife Kim said he sucked in bed and wasn’t well-endowed, and now Kelis pulled almost $31,000 from Nas’ ass.

Eminem jumped on Shade45 to premier a track off of DJ Hero: Renegade Edition, the video game he and Jay-Z are promoting. The song sounds like a Relapse left over, and by now you all know how I feel about Relapse. Can’t wait for a more “emotionally driven” Relapse 2 though; that’s what Em has promised he has in store. We’ll see if he can abandon his shenanigans long enough to deliver on the promise though.

Does this mean Jay-Z will drop a Blueprint 3 throwaway to promote the game next?
Eminem teamed up with DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Roots to perform LL Cool J’s “Rock The Bells” at the VH1’s BET tribute last night.
Here is the full episode of VH1 Behind The Music chronicling 50 Cent’s life and rise to fame, including how he signed to Eminem and Dr. Dre with comments by Shady himself.
Part 2 and 3 after the jump…
Apparently the delay in response to Haystack from Eminem or D12 has been due to the fact that they are on tour, but now Bizzare has stepped up for Eminem. This video shows Bizzare in the beginning saying fuck Haystack and calling him a bitch. He then goes on to say Haystack needs to stop rapping or get a rap coach because he can’t stay on beat. Following the interview, they show live concert footage of Bizzare getting the crowd amped by saying “fuck Haystack” repeatedly.
Biz also goes on to say that if you fuck with Eminem, you fuck with him and the rest of Detroit. He also says it’s the murder capitol of the world and Hay wants no part of that. Apparently Haystack is calling himself a Juggalo these days. What the fuck? If you missed the Haystack incident, click here.
MTV has released their full Top 10 Hottest MCs list after running a long standing poll. The thing is though the fan poll apparently didn’t count for diddly squat because the final top 10 don’t reflect the fan choices.
I mean at one point, Joe Budden was leading the pack and although I stopped checking Im sure he ended up in the top 10 somewhere, if not the top 5. Not to mention the fact that Eminem isn’t in there at all and he won the fan poll, and as disappointing as Relapse was to me personally, I’m still pretty sure that he is a better MC than Kanye West or Gucci Mane, who landed at the 4 and 6 spots. Or Rick Ross for that matter.
And how in the hell is Drake Top 3? He doesn’t even have an album out yet. I’m not knocking the guy’s talent and have high hopes for his music and inclusion on such lists, in the future, but how can anyone be the 3rd hottest MC in the game without having proven themselves on any real level? What albums has he dropped? What battles has he overcome, lyrically or otherwise?
And finally, Jay-Z took out the number 1 spot. Ok, I can see how he had the momentum going this year with The Blueprint 3, but the album itself was a disappointment and no where near his best work. Yes I said it, and let me further the controversy by saying that I’m not a 100% sure Jigga at any point in his career deserved the top crown when matched against his peers in that era, let alone now. But I guess that just goes to show the sad state of Hip-Hop this year.
No scratch that, we’ve had some great albums and music this year. I guess what this really goes to show is the sad state of MTV.

Man, Nick Cannon really can’t let this whole feud go. Apparently Mr. Cannon has warned Eminem again. He wants an “old-school-sit-down” with Slim Shady. Cannon wasn’t happy with Eminem’s “The Warning” which was a response to Mariah Carey’s “Obsession”. Besides, Mariah is too busy drinking wine to probably care anymore. Yeah, I said it.
Obviously “The Warning” wasn’t enough for Nick. I haven’t heard any talk from Mimi regarding this situation anymore since the diss came out. The whole beef stemmed from “Bagpipes From Baghdad” on Shady’s Relapse album. It sparked a whole lot of controversy, but I must agree with the 8 Mile Hero on this one.
Nick, you want to end his career? You better get one first. I don’t see too many reviews on your album. Like I’ve stated before; you’re barking up the wrong tree. Nick has stated Em is lucky “he hasn’t ran into him yet”. Yeah right.
Here’s a small excerpt from Nick:
I will not back down until the two of us talk it out one-on-one. “He’s lucky I haven’t run into him yet, I’m supposed to protect my woman if someone can be so heinous and disrespectful. Until we speak, I don’t respect him as a man. He and I need to have an old-school sit-down.”
Anyone out there remember Haystack? Well he apparently has a problem with Eminem and 50 Cent, and had the whole crowd behind him in Ohio.
