Posts about DMX
DMX was set to perform in Colorado but security wouldnt let him get on because he was an hour late (so?) and threatened to arrest the rapper if he tried to get on stage.
Shit got rowdy when he jumped up and the crowd got involved when security tried to physically pull him off.
For footage of the brawl and more, check these out…
Finally. This one took a while to come out but here it is. Ruff Ryders, we back!
In a bizarre and scathing video-interview, Earl Simmons, better known as Yonkers MC, DMX goes on a 3+ minute rant about Jay-Z. In the video, DMX reminds us of the cipher he and Jay had over 10 years ago. While it wasn’t seen as a “battle,” DMX implies that he was victorious in the “freestyle” exchange. He was right.
DMX goes on to discuss that he had respect for Jay-Z after the battle, but his feelings changed toward him after he became President of Def Jam.
There’s a difference between doing wrong and being wrong; and at one point, you were being wrong…
DMX doesn’t deny Jay-Z’s talent, but says “he has no heart behind it…there’s no soul behind it…it’s motivated by money…”
DMX presents some rather eradic behavior in this video…
Spotted at 2DBz. I’ll stick my head out there and say that back then, DMX was the better rapper (it’s not always about lyrical complexity). Hopefully he can pull his life career back together.

Jadakiss brings the Ruff Ryders family back out on the remix to “Who’s Real.’. It’s particularly good to hear DMX come back hungry on this, and Eve.

Like we reported last week, DMX was facing additional jail time for aggravated assault but the judge was expected to drop the case and has. Here is what TMZ reported today:
“A judge has decided not to send the oft-troubled rapper to jail after he pled guilty to felony attempted aggravated assault a few weeks back. X was accused of verbally threatening guards at Tent City back in February. Instead, he got 18 months probation, fees and fines, and credit for time served.”

DMX was free only 8 days when he copped a plea deal on an attempted aggravated assault case, stemming from a situation where X threatened to assault two officers in the prison he was just released from.
He originally pled not guilty to the felony, but reversed his plea and will be back in court this Monday June 8th. The good news is that as a result of DMX pleading guilty, the judge is expected to drop the charges.
Come on X, stay out of trouble long enough to drop another album!
