DJ Premier

(Eminem + Slaughterhouse + Yelawolf ) x Cypher = ‘Nuff said.

Who had the best verse? Let us know below! My vote goes to Royce.

I think every Hip-Hop fan in the world wishes Eminem and DJ Premier would work together and this might be the closest we get to it, at least for the time being. Unfortunately, Em’s just sampled on the hook for this one, Royce Da 5’9″ does drop a couple nice verses. Success is Certain out August 9th.

While we all wait for Free Agent to drop, Joell Ortiz is giving us a free EP called Farewell Summer.

DJ Premier talks to Haylow about his favorite Guru story, and a rundown of all the DJs that helped pave the way for himself.

Guru‘s nephew has gone the YouTube route to publicly voice his concerns regarding Solar who apparently is forbidding the family from seeing Guru and is in total control of the man’s affairs. Sounds like some shady shit.

Hip-Hop legend Guru suffered a heart attack over the weekend and fell into a coma. DJ Premier reported via his Twitter that rumors of Guru passing were false and the rapper was recovering after having undergone surgery yesterday, however he is still in a medical induced coma and on a breathing machine.

Our prayers go out to Guru.

Producers besides DJ Muggs will also include DJ Premier, B-Real (obviously), Mike Shinoda of Fort Minor/Linkin Park and Apathy. This will be the first album released in six years. Here’s the first official video off the album entitled “It Aint Nothin’” with cameo’s from Joell Ortiz and Xzibit. The Westcoast has finally come together!
