Firstly, today would have been Tupac‘s 40th birthday, so happy birthday to the late legend.

Now, this has come completely out of left field. Dexter Isaac has confessed to shooting Tupac Shakur in the 1994 Quad Studio robbery that lead to the East vs. West rap war that ultimately cost ‘Pac and Biggie their lives. He has also confirmed long standing rumors that Jimmy Henchmen was behind the shooting and implicated Diddy‘s involvement.

Looks like ‘Pac was justified in his attacks on Bad Boy, even if they continued to deny any knowledge or involvement. Tupac was called by Bad Boy to the studio and shot in the lobby. Surviving the five shots he made his way up the elevator only to find Puffy and Biggie reportedly shocked at his survival. This led to a feud that split Hip-Hop.

Here is the letter Issaac sent to AllHipHop.com:

Awhile back we brought you the diss from Lil Kim targeting Nicki Minaj with “Black Friday”. The Queen Bee stepped it up and posted money for the official video for the diss track. She even takes a shot at Lil Wayne, the rest of Young Money and Diddy. Kim refers to them as Swagga Jacka’s. Here’s the audio [click here] and now the video below.

If you don’t know who Huddy is, chances are your favorite rapper knew him. He was a staple in the New York Hip-Hop scene, from his days with Nas and Big L to the Diplomats and the current Dipset reunion, Huddy was in the middle of it all. He passed away last night in a car accident after leaving Club Perfection after a night partying with Cam’ron.

REST IN PEACE HUDDY.

Check out this article from MTV that says it better than I can, and then head over to MissInfo for some personal memories and dedication.

You know how the saying goes, the good die young. And today the hip-hop community, specifically New York City, mourns the loss of one of it’s soldiers in the battlefield.

Early yesterday morning (October 13th) Harlem World’s very own Andre Hudson, aka, Huddy Combs, aka Huddy 6 was returning from his beloved city en route to New Jersey when his vehicle struck a tractor trailer killing him. Hudson was accompanied by a female passenger who was taken to a local Jersey medical hospital where her condition remains unknown.

Huddy’s name rang bells throughout hip-hop circles for years thanks to his close association with childhood friends Cam’ron and Mase. Huddy got his biggest shout out on the hook to Cam and Mase’s “Horse & Carriage” but Huddy’s bigger claim to fame aside from his stint in the Harlem World group that spawned a full-length album was being credited for saving Cam’ron’s life back in 2005. Huddy was sitting in the passenger seat of Cam’s Lamborghini when an unknown man walked up to the vehicle and fired two shots hitting Cam in his arm. According to Cam, it was Huddy who quickly directed him to a nearby hospital.

Following news of his death, family, friends and fans remembered the man who they said embodied Harlem “R.I.P. HUDDY 6,” Juelz Santana wrote. “SMFH if u don’t or didn’t know who he was jus know this, he was HARLEM!!!!” “Huddy Combs…@hud6 ..God Bless! Harlem lost a good 1” Diddy tweeted. Hot 97 disc jockey Funkmaster Flex dedicated his entire radio slot to Huddy playing hours worth of Diplomats music. Diplomats members Freekey Zeekey and Duke Da God also shared their sentiments over the loss of their friend “Huddy Combs R.I.P my dear brother. Love you forever bro. @hud6” Duke tweeted. “Life is short so come2 amends w/family& Friends who ur n conflict with..U may never get a chance2 rekindle the Love&partnership RIP HUDDY6″ said Zeke via Twitter.

Rest in peace Huddy Combs … one of NYC’s forever shining stars.

UPDATE: Here are some videos from the memorial held for Huddy.

Okay not really but kind of. It seems past beef is behind them and the two are ready to work with each other. Firstly, Kanye West had this to say on his Twitter:

Yo man Lloyd Banks prolly the most underrated MC in the game… Man he deserve to be top 5 at least!

Then 50 Cent said this on MTV:

I sat with Swizz Beatz; I’mma try to get in with him. Don’t even be surprised if you hear me and Kanye, just talented artists — period. I’mma collaborate and make a monster this time. Ain’t nobody off limits to me in my head. If creatively they have something they feel is something for the project, I’m with it.

And this to 50 recently squashing beefs tension with Diddy and Jay-Z and this could be a new Curtis we are seeing… What’s next? Ja Rule and Fat Joe? Nah… Although I wouldn’t be surprised to see 50 and Cam’ron squashing it.

At this year’s AMAs 50 Cent posed for a legendary photo with Jay-Z. He spoke to MTV about it and also about squashing his beef with Diddy.
