Posts about Crooked I

This is some pretty horrible footage but it is better than nothing, so fast forward to about 3:40 and you’ll hear the crowd go crazy with “Slaughterhouse” chants before Crooked I, backed by some of his C.O.B. crew, address the Raekwon situation. If you’re not up on that click here and here first.

slaughterhouse
Before we get into it, this is all speculation based on some inside rumors based on observations based on the past week. Ok? Good.

From what I am hearing, things aren’t all good in the Slaughterhouse camp right now. The main situation is this beef with Wu-Tang, most notably Inspectah Deck and now Raekwon [click here]. All the Wu members involved have publicly [click here] said that they are cool with Crooked I, Royce The 5′9″ and Joell Ortiz but have a problem with Joe Budden.

Joe Budden stated during a live video chat [click here] that he wasn’t going to reply to Inspectah Deck’s diss [click here] and the “Fuck Joe Budden” at Rock The Bells DC because of the “politics” and because the rest of Slaughterhouse told him not to.

This whole situation might be causing some friction internally within the camp. After the Rock The Bells Chicago and Toronto, before all of this, both Crooked I and Joe Budden released video blogs [click here & here] of backstage on the tour, promising more at the next stop; but that hasn’t happened with Rock The Bells DC where the beef really took off. No video blogs, no video interviews with reporters like at all the other stops, nothing. No JoeBuddenTVs, nada, all is quiet on the Slaughterhouse front. And what makes it even more strange is that they have an album to promote, promo was rolling at an all time high, the hype and momentum was there after “The One” video clip was released [click here], now nothing.

Hopefully everything is cool, I’d hate to see this bullshit break up one of the most promising groups in Hip-Hop history, but something seems to have changed. Maybe they are just distracted, maybe they are planning for something bigger, who knows. Like I said this is all rumors and speculation.

Stay tuned. Slaughterhouse album out August 11th on E1 (Koch).

The lead single from Slaughterhouse called “The One.” Thanks for the eye candy guys. I like the video an all, but it just seems like my typical Monday morning. Watch for the Tahiry cameo at the end, keepin it real.

PS. Im glad official videos stay premiering on dope sites like OnSmash instead of some of the other trash out there.

Crooked I is back with his second installment to his behind the scenes series at this year’s Rock the Bells Festival, this time in Toronto.

Once again Crook takes you from the plane to the stage to show you the tour from the artist’s point of view.

There are also some funny moments back stage with Peter Rosenberg, then another one with Joell Ortiz and Joe Budden. KRS-One also makes a cameo in the video and says some nice things about Crooked and Slaughterhouse.
