I will spare everyone my huge issues I have with autotune or T-Pain for that matter and share with everyone Flavor Flav’s godawful attempt at a song using the autotune software.

This video/song is horrible. Flavor Flav, while contributing to the birth and come up of Hip Hop just needs to stop. He was born in 1959! He kind of reminds me of Master P. P used to have street credit and dignity. Then he got old and found himself on TV dancing. **shakes head** Flavor Flav is kind of the same way. He is way too old to be making music and doesn’t have the look of a a Denzel or LL Cool J to find himself on a dating reality show.

What is your opinion on this song? Do you like it? Do you approve of a 51 year old man singing about love? Do you think Flavor Flav should just go away already? Regardless, I bet Chuck D is somewhere out there shaking his head.

Brother Ali prepares his next album

Underground emcee Brother Ali is set to release his full length follow up to the critically acclaimed Undisputed Truth. The album, titled Us will be released via Rhymesayers Entertainment on September 22, 2009. The album will feature artists including Chuck D, Freeway, and Joell Ortiz.

Brother Ali launches his tour on the same day as the release along with labelmates Evidence, BK One and Toki Wright.

Big Pun: The Legacy movie trailer

Universal/Vivendi are releasing Big Pun: The Legacy, a documentary film about the late great Big Pun, on September 15th. Check out the trailer below.

The film will feature Hip-Hop stars as well as his family and friends talking about Big Pun’s life, his music and impact on rap music. Features include Cuban Link, Method Man, DMX, Raekwon, Snoop Dogg, Ghostface Killah, Redman, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Chuck D, Papoose, Cypress Hill, Xzibit, Mobb Deep and more.

Song Legacy will be putting out a new Big Pun CD to go along with it, no word yet as to whether it will be a greatest hits type disc, a tribute, or if it will feature some unreleased music.
